The location of the hotel-- right in the heart of the town of Pienza-- was perfect. You could walk to every fabulous restaurant, gelateria, etc. within a few minutes and there were lots of charming shops nearby. Parking in Pienza was a bit difficult as it is a popular destination for tourists during the day so there were times we had to circle around the non-ZTL zone a few times until we could find a spot. The bed and pillows in the hotel were the most comfortable out of all 4 places we stayed in Italy during our trip this time. Our only complaint was that the air is centralized so we didn't have any control over the temperature of our room. Since we were on the top floor, heat rises and it was very stuffy during the daytime. Other than that the facility was extremely clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast (and views) were wonderful!

The first room they gave me was not what I booked. I had a deluxe room with a hill view. They gave me a small old room looking out onto the garden. They advertised valet parking and private parking. No such thing. Staff was not warm, friendly or helpful. Exterior was beautiful, interior was an ailing 3 star. My curtains were ripped. The view was incomparably stunning once I changed rooms.

Very nice hotel, historic and lovely views. Massive comfy bed in the deluxe room and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was really nice, just what we wanted. Central location to pienza also.

This hotel has a wonderful position and fine rooms. If the furniture in the rooms was upgraded, this could be a very luxurious hotel indeed. As it is, it is good value for money

We stayed for three nights in late April. The location was excellent, an old convent in the heart of Pienza. The room was spacious and clean - elevator access as well. Great breakfasts on the patio in the sun. Evenings were spent on the patio overlooking the Val d'Orcia being spoiled by Claudia, our gracious hostess. This was our best stay of our two weeks in Italy

Real amazing, it was enchanting to stay in an ancient cloister

Staff was very good and very helpful. Parking is not easy. And we got a 28 eu ticket. Centrally located to other places. One night is sufficient.
