Hotel Relais II Chiostro di Pienza

The hotel location was good, clean and the breakfast was ok. My room was amazing and I really liked everything about he room especially the ceiling. I really like the room key but it was really heavy. Lol you got to try it. The only negative thing was the room heater, they switched it off at night and it was really really cold. I did not bring it to the hotel staff attention as I only found our early morning that the heater was switched off.

Bang n the centre. Stunning views. Great welcome and service. Bit of a problem with the fuses but the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful . Third visit .

The location and view are excellent. Parking is offsite but what can you do? There is nowhere to park inside the old town.

The patio area is absolutely incredible. The breakfast is fantastic, especially when we had our breakfast outside in the patio. Maurizio, hotel restaurant manager is so awesome and helpful. Elisa at the receiptiion desk is patient and gave us phenomenal service when we first arrived and during our stay. She is the best. Please acknowledge her amazing work. Tremendous thanks to this wonderful and lovely hotel. The parking isn’t far from the hotel at all even the free ones. Besides one can ask for a permit to drive past the gate to be dropping off ones ‘ luggage’s. The hotel is a gem for its price. We love our stay. Also we would love to point out that some of the recent reviews about the hotel not being clean, having bed bugs aren’t true at all. Overall We are glad to have booked the hotel without paying attention to the untrue reviews.

Needed some TLC but cool history and location with stunning views of the Val di Orcia

Amazing location, ambience A bit outdated but the poolside experience beats all other odds. Totally recommended, a wedding material place.

My husband and I have traveled a lot in Italy and we typically stay at 4-5 star hotels. This hotel is a bit difficult to rate. Our room overlooked the Tuscan hills and the views were spectacular! This part I would rate 5 stars. However that said the hotel is a bit run down which you notice as soon as you arrive to the reception. The room is clean but again you see a bit of wear and tear. Based on this i rated it a 2 or 3 star hotel. The receptionist Elise was exceptional. The servers at breakfast looked like they preferred to be somewhere else,you were lucky if they mumbled "Good morning" ... Elise made up for their lack of customer service. At the end of the day this hotel is very affordable. A bit difficult to find as you are not permitted to drive through the historic zone. If you are lucky you can find parking nearby at no cost. Paid parking was about $10 euros per night

Excellent location, one of the very best boutique hotels in Pienza. Choose a room with Hill view is a must. It's decoration is just so adorable, a perfect fit with the beautiful sceneries of Tuscany. Breakfast has good selections of pies, cold cut deli, bread and fruits as a proper continental breakfast should be. Parking in Pienza is not convenient compared to other areas but that's not a big issue. You can park around the town. All in all, it's a great hotel with stunning views. You will love it
