Embassy Suites Tucson - Paloma Village

We stayed at Embassy Suites Tucson in 2025 and were exposed to sewage gas/smell in and around the hotel including our room, the parking lot and hallways. I reported this issue to the hotel but saw no improvement. I also found out from online platforms that hotel guests have complained about the sewage gas smell for several years now, but the hotel has not taken precautions to avoid the issue since we were also exposed to it. The back side parking where electric chargers are located especially smells sewage. Our room was right above this location both times unfortunately. We smelled sewage inside the hotel hallways near the restaurant and second floor hallways. The smell was so strong it woke us up in our bedroom as it infiltrates through the windows and/or is already inside through the vents. A/C helped slightly but not much. It is apparent that this Hotel is suffering from serious infrastructure issues that expose its guests to sewage gas which is toxic. I emailed the hotel's manager yet they disregarded my complaint and placed us to yet another room with the exact same sewage issue. The manager emailed back after we completed our stay and had already checked out of the hotel. Overall, not the place we would ever stay in Tucson and were exposed to very harmful sewage gas.

Location is great. Room is very large.

Hotel smells sewage. The whole back side parking has sewage smell. Our room got the sewage smell. We asked to change room and that had a smell too. We were extremely disappointed with our stay. I emailed the manager and received no response. Even in third world country hotels there is no sewage smell. The stay here was extremely unpleasant and unhealthy.

Smelled of sewage, in the room and throughout the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location. There was also a dead lizard floating in the pool and other debris. After checking in the front desk girl saw me pushing a luggage cart the wrong direction to the elevator, she said nothing. I had to push the cart all the way back to the lobby and ask how to get to the elevator. Tip- direct your guests in the direction of the elevator when you give them the room key. Disappointed.

Breakfast and happy hour drinks were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful

We were disappointed that we had to pay additional for parking daily.

Pool was in very poor condition sadlly

Great property with everything you need or want! We especially loved the free breakfast with made to order omelets. Great bargain!
