If you have an early flight, this is a great and inexpensive way to be close to the airport. They are happy to drop you off, but the #50 bus stops every 10-15 minutes across the street and with the Basel Card (which is free) the bus is free.

The front desk staff was absolutely the RUDEST I have ever encountered. This girl (she said her name was Lena but I really doubt it) was literally yelling at my mom and refused to speak to me over the phone, all because THEY scheduled the shuttle for yesterday (her check out was today so I guess it made sense in their heads). Never coming back again.

"A cup of coffee, pleeeeease!"

I had a generously sized, functionally furnished and spotlessly clean room. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everything was fine. Unfortunately... I think an airport hotel should cater for the earliest flights from the airport. My bus left at 4:19 a.m., express breakfast was only available from 4:30 a.m. There was no possibility to get a single cup of coffee in the whole building. Although the reception is also a bar!

I stay at Airport Hotel Basel for two nights after EasyJet cancelled my flight close to midnight. As a result I stayed at Airport Hotel Basel for two nights. The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic to my situation, organising food at alate hour for myself and other people with cancelled flights. The staff went out of their way to organise the second night stay via Easyjet themselves which saved me from paying myself and being compensated later. The hotel is conveniently placed for the airport nd you get a BaselCard which gives you 50% off a lot of the major attractions and free public transport, so getting into town is free and takes about 10 minutes, All in all I'd highly recommend staying here.

"Convenient for airport travelers"

Great convenient stay right near the airport. The bus to the airport is immediately across the street and starts operating at 4:20am if you have an early flight, otherwise they have an airport shuttle starting around 6 as well. Great comfortable rooms, quiet, and an easy public transit to the city

The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff treated us very well. The room was large & very clean. We ate in the attached restaurant & I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. My dinner was absolutely delicious & the service was very good. We stayed there because it was close to the airport, but I would definitely stay there again. There was a free bus across the street that went into town.
