We stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage. The location was great for us stopping over. Flo on reception was lovely. Breakfast was nice.

I had to request sheets & pillowcases to make the sofa bedding up to be used, I wouldn’t expect to have to do this and we couldn’t use the bedding without sheets. We found a lot of rubbish under the sofa bed and the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The freezer was unusable and needed defrosted. This was very disappointing and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the cottage. I brought this up with reception and handed them the items we found.

Location good for wedding at the blacksmiths shop . Great shower/ bathroom. Huge comfortable bed . Plenty of complimentary tea/ coffee .

The road noise meant i didn’t sleep well .

Excellent breakfast, choice varied and offered both English and continental options. The disabled bathroom facilities were some of the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. The staff were helpful and friendly

The height of the bed, could get in without assistance as I have mobility issues. Would have liked a second easy chair for my husband to relax in rather than a desk chair.
