"Comfortable bed but tired room"

The bed was comfortable and it was a good sized room

The decoration was tired, carpets had big stains, wallpaper was peeling, the door over the bath didn’t seal so showering caused a puddle and the room smelt of dog. We’re not dog owners so maybe more sensitive to the smell.

Absolutely superb hotel..superb reception on arrival..brilliant room ..large .comfortable. spotless.. Brilliant breakfast..superb meal x2 in chainmail restaurant 1st class on both nights and huge shout out to lady serving us ..MACY.. knowledgeable..warm..friendly..made dining experience bit more special..all in a fantastic stay ..

Everywhere in the hotel was fresh and clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative.

The ash trays outside were in need of emptying!
