Evening menu limited and grossly overpriced

We had our wedding here on 30th may, came down with 25 members of family. From planning our wedding to leaving it was amazing! Beautiful hotel and our reception room was amazing. We stayed in the ash suite and it was perfect! Every member of staff was so helpful and nice! Jill was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble! Breakfast food and our wedding meals were absolutely lovely. Will definitely be planning another trip to stay at smiths! Thank you. Mr and Mrs Wood

We had a family room which was clean and spacious. We ate in the restaurant where we found the food to be costly, but very much worth the money. Parking was easy, staff were friendly. 11am checkout was also a nice change from the usual 10am checkout of many other establishments.

The room was lovely and spacious. The bed was really comfy. The WiFi was great and the staff were super helpful. Parking was really easy and close to the entrance.

The bar could have done with more of an ordinary bar feel but it was ok nontheless. The service was great.

Expensive sandwiches, no bar food available in evening.

We were supposed to stay in cottage 1, but shortly after arrival, the power went out, and the hotel had to call in an electrician. Staff at the hotel acted promptly and worked together to ensure we were looked after and quickly transferred over to 2 stunning balcony rooms at the hotel at no extra cost. Both the cottage and the hotel rooms are beautifully furnished.

No complaints. Despite the electrical problem in our accommodation, we were looked after very well.

As previously the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spotless and breakfast was excellent.

Expensive electric vehicle charging cost.

Perfect location.

The mattress on the pull out bed was thin and springs were felt.
