Homewood Suites by Hilton Lexington-Hamburg

Room was great. One thing we noticed was the only mirror was in the bath room. There should be a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Just a suggestion.

Nothing to dislike

Courtyard was lovely with impressive furnishings and fire pit. Even though the hotel is alongside the interstate, the room was quiet.

Too much ambient lights in the room from the alarm clock and lighted switches in the dressing area.

It was clean and comfortable.

The staff wasn’t very friendly at all - particularly the lady who checked us in. She was on the phone when I checked in, did not acknowledge that I had walked up and did not apologize for making me wait. She wasn’t friendly at all. The breakfast wasn’t very good and did not have many food choices.

We are long time Diamond members with Hilton. After traveling 3 hours to this hotel arriving @ 11 PM, the general manager, Brenda Sosa refused to give us 2 bottles of water as our normal checkin welcome. She then decided we weren’t good enough to stay in her hotel and canceled our reservation turning us out late at night because she perceived I had “raised my voice” when I asked her if she was really going to refuse diamond members two small bottles of water. We have stayed at this hotel since it was built years ago, and have always received water upon checkin. I have never been treated so rudely, and we no longer recommend this hotel.

Our staff was great. However, the breakfast was not great and was either cold, late or overcooked. Pancakes or waffles would have been a great option. Also, there was no real cream or half/half for the coffee.

Staff was friendly, facility was clean, room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was awesome.
