Nora Beach Resort and Spa

Good hotel. Lacking a little professionalism to be excellent. We had a bungalow with sea view. Beautiful 🙏🏻 Nice golfcarts to drive guests. The resturant is not great. Mediocre food - except the seared tuna salad which is really good. New Year’s Eve celebration was nice when it came to the food and visual ❤️ But the band …..🙈 extremely loud rock music from the 80’s and 90’s. Impossible to speak to even the person next to you. Lasted for hours - all through dinner 😓 the fire show was great - as was the fireworks. Nice staff - missing just a little to be excellent 🤗

This resort is top tier! The ammenities and rooms are very clean and the food is great. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. Very polite! Special shout out to Cha Cha (Tom Cruise). He works on the bars and is absolutely hilarious and fun! We will be back! See you soon Nora Beach x

Change of holiday destination today... woohoo, somewhere new to explore. Left Patong for Ko Samui today... First impressions are not g8 to say it politely... Hotel driver was 30 min late to the airport for pickup. We booked & requested a specific room over 12 months ago as the wife has limited mobility only to be told that they gave it to another party, & would be given a room away from all the amenities. We have now been waiting for 1½ hrs to check into the other room, so though we would go for a walk & swim at the beach whilst we waited. Bad idea as the water is green & not very inviting. Maybe algae bloom, maybe polution, probably both. So thought we would head for the pool. Alas it seems nobody else is willing to go in the ocean either & so no room at the pool for us, just as well as our togs were still in reception with our luggage. So off we go again, this time we are headed to the restaurant. No luck there either, as we were told that it was closed to us (the people actually staying at the hotel) as they had a function on. Being cruise ship guests coming for a buffet lunches. We did get offered 1 of 2 tables set out back near the kitchen for hotel guests, where we finally managed to get a drink. I will update the above when I have something positive to comment on. So, 2+ hrs now waiting on other room.

We stayed in the beachfront villa at Nora beach hotel, and we had the best experience from start to finish. We were greeted by staff who helped us with our luggage and we were transported with the buggy around the resort. The staff were so friendly and attentive, they were happy to help with anything to make your stay more comfortable. The room was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean and modern. The room was very spacious and the views were amazing over the private pool, and beach. I could have sat and watched the view all day. The breakfast buffet was so fresh, and there were so many options, you could order any style of eggs to your table. The resort is super quiet and relaxing, it really feels like an escape from reality. This is the best resort I’ve stayed in throughout my travels in Thailand; in fact the best resort I’ve ever stayed in! I would recommended anyone to stay here to experience a luxurious stay.

I returned to Nora Beach Resort & Spa and stayed nine nights in September 2025 in a beachfront pool villa suite and had a most relaxing and comfortable stay. I had stayed at the resort in the same accommodation previously and so happy that I returned. The villa with private pool, sala and terrace with two reclining full length pool chairs was pure bliss. The villa has a separate living area with a desk, reclining chair with ottoman and a huge sofa and coffee table. One wall was recessed and contained a big screen TV and DVD player, coffee pod machine, fridge and every drinking glass you would ever need. It also had a kettle and an assortment of teas. The living area was mostly floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding doors which opened onto the terrace with one wall opening onto the private pool and overlooking the beach and sea. On the terrace was an outdoor shower and sala which was perfect for that afternoon nap. The bedroom has a huge king size four poster bed and doors opening onto the terrace. It also contained another TV and more than enough clothes storage. The bathroom was huge with a sit down vanity on one wall and basin on the opposite wall with mirrors on each. There was a huge tub with jets and a large shower stall with plenty of windows looking out onto a garden. The breakfast area has had an upgrade which I was most happy about. There are now automatic sliding glass doors which open onto the large room containing most of the breakfast items with the egg station just outside this room. There is plenty to choose from and I loved the automatic coffee machines so you could make your own coffee when needed and did not have to ask for it. The breakfast area is open air and looks directly onto the beach and sea which is such a pleasant way to start the day. The breakfast area is also the evening restaurant where I had a few meals. I spoke to the maitre'd after my first meal and told him that it was very bland and needed more spice. He informed me that as many of their guests are European the chef has toned down the spice for those guests. He informed me to ask for spicy Thai the next time I ordered and from then on the meals were prepared to suit my palate. The resort is in the process of reclaiming the beach area due to a big storm which happened earlier in the year but the work was never in the way or obtrusive to the ambiance. Shuttle service is provided into Chaweng daily complimentary. There is a small room containing some gym equipment. Check-in and check-out were seamless. I cannot compliment the staff enough. They were so very courteous, friendly and went out of their way to make my stay excellent. The resort went out of their way to make my stay perfect including complimentary transport to their sister resort, Nora Buri where I stayed for 10 nights after departing Nora Beach. I can't wait to return to this wonderful resort.

This place might be a 4-star hotel, but it honestly feels like a 5-star stay! We booked the beach villa and it was perfect — direct beach access and our own private pool with a stunning ocean view. Waking up to that view every day was just incredible. We spent some time at the spa (so relaxing!) and had dinner at the hotel — the food was amazing. Seriously, the chef knows what they’re doing. Both dinner and breakfast were really good. And if you somehow get tired of your own pool (which is hard!), the main pool is huge and also faces the beach — perfect for a chill afternoon or sunset dip. Such a great stay overall — would totally come back for another beach escape!

Beautiful property

We just spent 10 nights at this fine establishment, from checking in to checking out we had a fantastic stay with awesome staff, the staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the pool bar staff who we made use of often. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was great, we ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food is good. The entertainment in the evening is ok, I remember the couple from my previous visit which was about 12 years ago, it would be nice to have a bit of variety on different nights. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily and early. There could be a bit more shelves for clothes but it was fine. Over all we had a great stay and when we return we would probably stay there again!
