Nora Beach Resort and Spa

We visited Nora Beach January 2025 & had some serious issues . Jeff the manager promised us he would address them & compensate, but so far has not. Jeff we have contacted the hotel many times & just keep being fobbed off. It is now mid March please address what you promised. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. I am confused by the reviews that feel the hotel is run down because I did not experience this at all. We did stay in the main building and the bathroom seemed new and the room was absolutely fine. The location of this hotel is stunning. Yes you are ‘out of the way’ in the sense that you can’t walk to other areas, but grab is so easy and it only takes 5 minutes to Chaweng. As a result you end up with your own private beach… I would much rather this than sharing with hundreds of people. We had no problem finding sun loungers either on the beach or by the pool. The swim up bar was certainly a highlight and I loved the music they played. Breakfast was of good equality as was the restaurant in the evening. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at this stunning resort.

We had a wonderful stay at Nora Buri these last weeks. The resort is incredibly clean and the staff is a VERY big part of what makes this place what it is. I’ll start by saying if you were looking for somebody to wait on you hand and foot on a place like the Ritz Carlton the staff is not for you. The staff is more friendly, but in a local kind of way less stuffy and a more laid-back vibe well still keeping my priorities and my experience at top of mind. I found being kind and considerate of the workers. Only granted us even greater service. A couple notes about the room, the shampoo and body wash be a little bit better quality consider considering how often we need to shower from the pools in the sunscreen. I’ll also note that the water temperature was never consistent in the shower. It wasn’t a big enough deal for us to report it but if you’re there, expect that you may need to report that. I’ve stayed at multiple resorts on the island, including one of the islands best Centara Reserve and can honestly say that this place brings an authentic feeling to a luxury vacation. What they have built here is truly beautiful and honestly almost convinced me to plan my wedding there not that I’m even engaged yet. The breakfast and the drinks at both bars are amazing. Fresh fruit whenever you need it and the gym facilities are to die for considering other places. Need a taxi to get into town every night if that’s your plan the location is ideal as it’s pretty central to both Chang and Lemai. Finally, I have a little shout out for the staff at the spa. My partner and I tend to overindulge in spa services and the workers here made that all the more special. With their friendly faces around the resort, they’re kind demeanor and even they’re laughing spells with us is what made that place so special. Plus the Thai flower juice there was just amazing. I couldn’t get enough. Overall, I’m very happy with our stay here and I would recommend that if you’re looking for something that has a true toned down luxury feel to it while still maintaining an amazing facility. This is the place.

Nora Beach Resort & Spa is not in the centre of the hustle & bustle of Chaweng Beach, but not too far away and they have a shuttle service to take you there and back. We stayed in one of the beautiful beach front villas with a private pool. The room is gorgeous and spacious and the pool and outdoor area is lovely and very private! Spacious lounge area with a lounge and a couple of chairs, spacious bedroom, plenty of cupboard space and a beautiful bathroom with shower & bath. The only thing I would have liked is a mattress option as the mattress was way too hard for us. The ocean is just outside, so you hear the sound of the waves crashing which is lovely. They have had a lot of erosion from stormy weather lately, so there was alot of sand missing and you couldn't walk out to the water, but they are in the process of repairing this. The staff at the resort are plentiful and attentive and our room attendant was lovely (Apel), she always added some flowers and made sure our water supply was abundant! The restaurant was good, a nice selection of both Thai and western food and right on the beach. The complimentary breakfast was great, so much to choose from and the egg station was a great addition. The spa is amazing, the massage we had was most relaxing. I would highly recommend this resort if you're looking for a quieter stay on Koh Samui! Thankyou Nora Beach!

Beautiful views!

This place was very beautiful and amazing service by all the staff. Dining experience was over the top. Great location on the water, however not a swimming beach. 5 min taxi ride $5 to hot spots and beautiful beaches. We did a few excursions to other islands.

Great resort right on the beach. Accommodation so nice set in lush grounds. Restaurant is on the beach front such beautiful views. The food for our weeks stay was brilliant breakfast and dinner. Most important is the staff at this resort. Everyone was so kind and always with a big smile, people make all the difference. We will be back

The perfect location - close to the airport and Chaweng/Samui Central, but far away enough for quiet relaxation. The staff are incredible and so lovely! The family pool villa was a generous size with lots of privacy. This was our second time too stay at Nora Beach Resort and can't wait to go back.
