On arrival into our room, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the toilet bowl was disgusting Also we did not expect a long route March to our room, when it was changed , the room given was still a walk but a little closer to reception Sorry to say, we will not use this venue again

Evening meal was lovely. Bizarre how a steak in the restaurant is cheaper than a pizza in the bar. Usefull phone for taxis in reception.

Breakfast was poor. Coffee machines not all working. Continental lacking. Hot food not up to standard of your local caff. Not value for money. No ac in the room. Bathroom tired and well worn. Staff slow in the bar and restaurant- young, inexperienced and unattentive Treatments in the spa are overpriced with the whole set up in need of an overhaul. Showing its age.

Clean tidy location

Room slightly dated leaky shower door and really warm with no AC which was surprising in an upgraded room with attached suite a small fan was provided by reception which helped

I've stayed here several times purely for the location.gym is decent but unfortunately pool was closed on this occasions

No air conditioning, bar staff seemed to lack leadership and direction, tables not cleared

We were attending an event at the hotel so it was convenient to stay. Parking is free and ample. Many of the facilities in the room were very good quality ie the toiletries and hair drier were better than you usually find in hotels. The bed was very comfortable and clean.

Staff on check in performed basic check in function but could have been more enthusiastic and could have given a brief introduction to facilities and explained to how to find our room as they did on our previous visit. Its a big place and not easy to orientate. It was very hot and there was no air con (which we knew) but the fan provided wasn't very effective. The UHT milk provided had gone off. Chilled water would have been nice.

The nice countryside and peace around hotel. Comfortable spacious room. Spa and gym excellent. Free parking. Reasonable selection at breakfast.

No airconditioning in room. Other than this no complaints. Would visit again.
