Frühstück engl.Teil war ok ,aber keine Wurst ,kein Käse , nur weißer Toast, Kaffe schmeckt nicht Schlechtestes Frühstück in England seit langem, schade

Lovely surroundings, friendly staff, nice room

The bar prices were very pricy £27.50 for 2 gin and tonics. It was quite warm in the room no air-conditioning And the fire alarm woke us abruptly at 1.45 in the morning.with no explanation.

Not enough staff on bar so queue rapidly built up just before dinner. Had a large party of over 25 which pre ordered and pre paid meal. However we were split into 2 different timed seatings. Extremely slow service, not enough staff on to cater so some had finished before others had received their meal. My husband had specifically ordered a dairy free meal. When it arrived there was parmesan cheese on the salad and had to be returned. He had also ordered a side dish which only arrived when his main was almost finished. I ordered salmon with hasselback potatoes. Salmon was luke warm and very dry and the potatoes were just 2 little boiled potatoes - not at all what was stated on the menu!!!! £77 for 2 people for only 2 courses was an absolute rip off. Also at the breakfast my husband used the Alpro soya the hotel supplied in his tea. It was off and smelled and tasted disgusting. Had to hand it to the guy serving behind the breakfast bar.

Pleasant surprise on arrival was told of room Upgrade.

Good location, good spa facilities.

Air con didn’t work in our rooms even though we asked for it to be looked at on 4 occasions. No air con in restaurant. Forgot to prepare birthday desert as requested for my daughters birthday meal.

The location for a wedding we had was v good. The staff were generally v helpful and friendly but all v young. The boys at breakfast were lovely.

Where do we start - this is not a cheap hotel but the whole experience was disappointing. The hotel was not designed for heat - no air con (did manage to give us a fan). Not enough staff - when checking in at 5pm there was just 1 member of staff with a long queue, bar understaffed. This is a big hotel but staffed like a small B&B. We stayed here 12 years ago for a wedding at the hotel and it was lovely but I would not stay again.

How quiet the room was and bed was very comfortable

Having to walk right through the whole hotel to get to our room which happened to be the farthest away which wasn't really fare on my wife who is disabled. So she did struggle especially with stairs.

Rooms. Terrible. No air con or fans available. No assistance provided. Ended up booking another hotel 25 mins away that had air con

The staff were ok but not overly helpful and quite abrupt. The food we ordered was over priced and cold. It took so Long to arrive I couldn’t be bothered to complain, crispy fish and chips - the. Batter was so soggy it fell off of the fish. Chicken Tikka was cold and hugely expensive with only 4 tiny pieces of cheap chicken that was inedible. The room was hot and stuffy. For a spa hotel the bathroom was considerably lacking in any product. The swimming pool was closed in the morning but no one could give any reason why or for how long - just an unhelpful flu ‘I don’t Know’ All very, very disappointing!
