The manager, Mr. Patel, was so nice, understanding, and caring with me and my family. Worked with all of our needs and requests. Customer service was outstanding.

Bed was comfortable. Staff tried to be as accommodating as possible.

Air Conditioner was broken-didn't work at all, so we were moved to different rooms, air conditioner was not working properly in those rooms. From my understanding from other guest that the air conditioners in other rooms were either broken or not working properly. The breakfast was below standards; the selections were ample the quality was below average.

There were bed bugs!! The elevator didn’t work. But there were bed bugs, the front desk offered to move me rooms. But bed bugs….

First and for all tribal members to know, all they improve on outside looks there have no good intentions but to take money from the community there in talhquah. I've been going to this town for years as a child, teenage,now I'm 50 plus years old and never have I've been so ashamed of being Cherokee. Let me start with check -in, every single time I've checked in I should my tribal card and was accepted. Told by attending personal it NO Good. Really? So no worries, are not? Check in Friday evening fast forward to early Saturday morning after being down stairs for breakfast.

Quiet location. Walmart, McDonalds and Burger Kkng are walkable distance. Close to other restaurants but I’d prefer to drive those

They wanted to charge 250 dollars deposit because I lived within 50 miles of them BULLSHIT my electric was off do to a storm

My family came up from Texas, and we planned a fun trip—taking the younger kids to the carnival while the older ones attended a crab boil and went rafting. After arriving and checking into our hotel, the front desk clerk asked for my ID. Upon seeing it, he immediately informed me that I couldn’t stay at the hotel because I lived within 50 miles of the property. I was shocked and explained that this restriction should have been clearly stated prior to booking. I also shared that I had family in the area and that this was part of a planned family gathering. The clerk told me I could cancel the reservation but would need to do so through Expedia, as it was made through a third party. I contacted Expedia, and they informed me I would be charged $280 to cancel the reservation. At this point, I felt cornered and reluctantly agreed to stay. However, the clerk then required a $250 cash deposit, claiming he couldn’t accept it on my debit card or return it that way, which I found highly inconvenient and suspicious. At this point, I began to feel I was being discriminated against. I showed my law enforcement credentials—including commission cards from the State of Oklahoma, the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service, and the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Department. The clerk’s demeanor noticeably changed after seeing my identification, as if realizing he may have made a mistake. Still, I was uncomfortable staying at the hotel under these circumstances. I decided to leave this hotel.

There were a lot of little things here and there that overall created a bad experience. There were some torn sheets, outlets in the room didn't work, shower head malfunctioning, stale cereal, no tea available, no eggs available for breakfast. We will not be back and we do not recommend it.
