The breakfast was good lots of choice

You had to wait awhile for the trays to be filled up again maybe with everyone appearing at the same time ?

The room was comfortable and clean

There was very little to eat at breakfast. We went down to breakfast at about 9am and the only hot food available were some rashers - and one slice of bread to make toast - which we had to share. We were told there would be more food in about 10 minutes but we waited and only a small amount was brought out from the kitchen - a few beans and sausages I think. The manager was walking around quite unbothered by this and we noticed other guests were becoming frustrated also. We gave up in the end as we were under time pressure to catch a ferry at Holyhead. We were on a 10-night trip in the UK - 3 nights at IHG Stafford, 2 nights at IHG Warwick - both of which were great. In fact- the night at IHG Shrewsbury was the most expensive night we paid for throughout the entire trip - and unfortunately the most disappointing. We arrived for our ferry crossing hungry and exhausted. Very disappointed.

Staff friendly very helpful cleanliness

Asked for single beds got a double went to breakfast and no orange juice and no cooked breakfast and i went at 9 am on a saturday

Only the breakfast although there was not much choice

The waiting time to check inn very slow and had to say my name and l then had to use phonetics. The stairs leading to floor one were absolutely filthy and full of mud the windows in the doors were filthy. Next day I assumed the stairs would have been cleaned but it was the same going down to breakfast. I am a mobile cleaner for Sandwell council and if I left a building like this I would be sternly spoken to or even sacked.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The provided shower and hair gel was pleasant smelling. The tea tray was adequate and we were able to to get extra milk from reception. The staff were accommodating and helpful. . Seeing as the breakfast was included and was of a reasonable quality we thought it was good value for money.

Unfortunately our bedroom window wouldn't close completely and we couldnt get the heating to come on. Reception overrode our controls and it was nice and warm by the time we returned to our rooms.

Room and bed were excellent. A good size, not cramped.

Breakfast space was quite small and the staff were under pressure due to the peak time number of guests. No criticism of the staff or the facilities - it is just what it is in a business motel at 8.30am.
