Понравилось абсолютно всё. Отель расположен очень удачно. Очень доброжелательный персонал , очень разнообразные и вкусные завтраки и вообще рестораны в отеле неплохие. Вообщем очень рекомендую!

Wow, where to start? How about the limo driver pickup (900 CNY or @ $130) from the airport to the hotel? Great service. Then there was Yina the concierge, who was excellent, always helpful, and whose proficient English made life easy. She helped us mail home dirty laundry so we could put more souvenirs in our suitcases! She was great. Housekeeping was great. There are seasonal settings to enviro controls in the hotel, but the windows opened and we slept well in a comfy bed, a luxurious room overlooking The Forbidden City. Proximity to Wangfujing Street meant easy walking access to shopping and restaurants. In-house, enjoy the delicious Lei Garden Cantonese cuisine, but unless you want to pay Chicago steakhouse prices, skip Morton's (my wife feeling overtired meant my wallet was spared). Take the limo back to the airport when you leave; VIP dropoff and a valet will carry your bag all the way to your gate (yes, through security on your behalf). For under $300 per night I enjoyed the type of hospitality that commands $2000 a night in New York City or Paris. Spoil yourself, enjoy luxury in Beijing by staying at The Regent. Great hotel, great location, great service, great people.

Chose this hotel because of its location. Within walking distance to most tourists sites or within a few metro stops. This hotel is on line 5 and within 500m there is line 8 for those planning a trip to Beijing. Perfect base for exploring Beijing. Beijing traffic can be a nightmare and walking n metro is the best way to move around. The last time we were in Beijing was 30yrs ago and we stayed at China World and that was the only develop area. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful though English is not spoken widely among the staff. The concierge staff were helpful with restaurant reservations as well as tickets booking for tourist destinations. I do not want to mentioned any specific names but the whole concierge team did their very best to accompanied the guests need. Kudos to the team. The room (1629) was spacious and well layout. The hotel seems dated but that was acceptable. Even the cleaning team were happy and greeted the guests with pride and warmth. We chose the club level and had access to the club lounge. The breakfast and food at level 2 (fried rice was hard to swallow) and the lounge (bread seems stale) was acceptable but not fantastic by my standards. Maybe would be good if the team revisit and re-taste the food offerings and revise their menu. Alternatively, conduct a survey and ask guests who stay more than 3 nights for their feedback. After 9 nights the afternoon tea can get boring. I had to order KFC for a change. Beijing is not known to by a cuisine heaven but then again, certain standards need to be maintained. That’s my only issue and feedback to the hotel mgmt. Will definitely stay again but food offering needs to improve.

This hotel definitely fulfills anything a Swiss traveler would be looking for. Centrally located and easily accessible by subway. In walking distance to the forbidden city. The staff is especially helpful and English speaking. The rooms are sparkling clean, and the breakfast a dream. Full marks in every sense. Well done.
