"Radisson Blu Mahabalipuram gesture"

We had a great experience of this resort with its recreational facilities the room ambience and above all the hospitality and the food. Would like to mention an exceptional quality of unmatched service.....I had forgotten my watch in the room at check out. I remembered it when I had already reached Chennai Airport. I called the hotel and they immediately assured me that it shall be sent to Mumbai by courrier totally free of cost. Today my watch is back with me and I appreciate this gesture highly. "Lovely relaxing stay"

Very relaxing and beautiful resort. All the staff was exceptional and very helpful. Nice variety of food for all tastes and preferences. Special shout out to Anita in the craft area who helped our family make some fun memories with arts and crafts. Thanks to life guard Jayakumar for being so helpful with my elderly parents getting in and out of the pool. And finally don't miss out on MingNee at the spa who provides the best massage!!

"Good, well maintained resort, wonderful F&B Manager"

This is a well known resort in the tourist town of Mahabalipuram, about 55 km south of Chennai. It covers a large area abutting the sea. There are a variety of accommodations, ranging from sea-facing "villas" to pool-facing rooms. The main lobby with the check-in counter is close to the main gate of the complex. The restaurant is quite large and is connected to the main lobby. Buggy service is available to move from one spot to another in the resort. The villa we stayed in is basically a spacious room with a king bed, a sitting area and attached bathroom and wardrobe areas. The AC vent is in one end of the ceiling, causing some uneven cooling in the villa. The bed linen and towels were clean. The staff at all points - check-in, buggy service, house keeping, maintenace, room service, restaurant, etc. were very good, polite and helpful. Absolutely no complaint on that score. The house keeping staff provided us extra bedsheets when requested. The breakfast spread was excellent, catering to a wide variety of tastes and preferences. But the menu choices for lunch and dinner were some what limited, especially for vegetarians. The rooms service (called In Room Dining) was often slow, requiring 40-50 minutes to receive the ordered items. But all this was compensated by the excellent attention and help provided by the F&B and IRD Manager Mr. Mohideen Abdul Kadhar, who responded to our every need. He also kindly packed some food items for the children in our group for our road journey after check-out. He was on duty right from morning to late night, directing the staff and sometimes even carrying food to the tables. Thank you very much Mr Kadhar, you made all the difference to our stay, making us wanting to come back at some time in future. A final suggestion to the management - please increase the the number of buggies in service to reduce the waiting time, and also increase the staff handling room service. Also provide items like idlis, dosas and upmas in the all day menu, not just at breakafast time. Thank you.

"Disappointing Stay – Noticeable Decline in Service Quality"

We were looking forward to our return to Radisson Blu Temple Bay, Mamallapuram after a positive experience in October 2024, but this visit was unfortunately a letdown across several aspects. Buggy Service: Buggy transportation, which is typically available within the property for both short and long distances, was surprisingly difficult to access. Despite having senior citizens with us, the staff was reluctant to send one, and it took multiple follow-ups to arrange even a short ride. Housekeeping: Room cleaning was not up to standard. Basic areas like the balcony were neglected and only cleaned after we specifically requested it. In-room Amenities: The complimentary fruit basket that usually comes with the room was not provided initially. It was only sent after multiple follow-ups. In-room Dining: Even a simple request like filter coffee took more than 45 minutes to be delivered to the room, reflecting poor service efficiency. Air Conditioning Issues: The AC unit was frustrating to deal with—it kept shutting off after reaching 22°C. Even after the technician attended to it, the issue continued. We were left with no comfortable setting—either sweltering heat (with non functional AC at night in 1 room) or freezing at 19–20°C (in the 2nd room). Food & Beverage: The food quality was subpar, and the service at restaurants was extremely slow. High Tea: The high tea spread was minimal, with the same items repeated daily. The live music during this time was loud, off-key, and far from relaxing. Billing: Service charges were added to the invoice without any clear communication. Overall, the service has seen a sharp decline compared to our previous stay. Attention to guest comfort and responsiveness was lacking across departments. Radisson Blu needs to seriously revisit its standards if it hopes to maintain its reputation and guest loyalty.

We stayed at this resort a few months ago and found it to be a great family-friendly destination. The rooms were spacious, though the quality could be improved to meet 4-star standards. The food was tasty, but the service was a bit slow and could use some improvement. The hospitality was warm, and the staff were very helpful special thanks to Mr. Suresh for his support. During an personal emergency, I was provided with GRT-branded sanitary pads, which came with disposable covers. The quality was excellent and turned out to be among the best. The resort genuinely cares about women's hygiene needs a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.

"A unique personalized experience!"

Very unique wonderful experience, right from the start to finish of our 3 Days stay at Temple Bay. From the ever smiling and humble staff to the lush green surroundings and the great food, everything was so welcoming! We even had an Ayurvedic massage at the Bodhi Spa which has spec clean ambience and well trained professional therapists. Of specific mention here is the excellent service provided by Prasanna who was always with us and took very good care of all. Overall, this was a well deserved vacation in a perfect beach resort!
