Gym and pool facilities lovely. Nice ambience Grounds spectacular. Good bar Hiroshige Woodblock prints in my room Bathroom was nice

Room was a bit poky (single room) Fair amount of hair on my bedding. Didn’t really care but would bother some. Room was hot. Restaurant ethos a tad dated but staff worked hard and were accommodating.

The whole property itself was nice but not the room, very outdated, dusty, and stuffy

I booked an economy room that was listed as 19m2 room but the room i got was definitely A LOT smaller than that with no room to even open 2 small luggage at the same time. It was very very stuffy, I stayed when the weather was showing 21C but the room felt like 30C. There was a fan supplied in the room but did not make it any better. When I went out the actual temperature outside was a lot cooler compared to the room. The room it self was VERY small, out dated, run down, and dusty. When we arrived, on top of the duvet there was dust accumulated. I’m glad I only stayed for one night.

Lovely looking old house and the swimming pool was lovely and warm.

They do not do maid service to make the rooms during your stay. Towels changed if you leave outside but bins/toilet/bath/bed/biscuits not refreshed. Additional toilet rolls have to be requested from reception. Nice location but if I wanted an air bnb experience I’d have booked an air bnb. Advised jacuzzi broken at booking two weeks ago and not fixed at stay, steam room also broken.
