Our stay at The Zuri Kumarakom was a memorable and rejuvenating experience, combining comfort, scenic beauty, and warm hospitality. The property is beautifully set amidst lush greenery and tranquil waters, offering the perfect setting for relaxation. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel at home. Nihad, Nithin, and Ramzan from operations ensured everything ran smoothly and were always approachable. The villa was well-appointed, private, and offered lovely lagoon views, while housekeeping by Bibin and Sanchita kept everything spotless and thoughtfully maintained. Dining was a highlight — the food was flavorful and diverse, with both authentic Kerala cuisine and international options. The restaurant team, including Anjali, Abhila, Arpan, and Nikhil, made every meal delightful with their warmth and attentive service. Areas of Improvement: The room AC temperature control didn’t work, and despite the electrical team’s efforts, it wasn’t resolved — leading to an uncomfortable night’s sleep. We were not informed about a large company group’s annual celebration, which created significant noise at the pool. Since I was looking for a peaceful and quiet stay, this was disappointing. The Maya Spa felt inadequate — for a couple’s massage, there weren’t two female therapists available, which limited our experience. Overall, while the property and staff — especially Nihad, Nithin, Ramzan, Anjali, Abhila, Arpan, Nikhil, Bibin, and Sanchita — made our stay memorable, the resort needs to pay closer attention to operational details and guest expectations to truly deliver the level of experience it promises.

We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful resort in God’s Own Country. The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking — serene backwaters, lush greenery, and a peaceful atmosphere that offered the perfect escape from the hustle of daily life. It’s an ideal place to unwind and spend quality time. The hospitality was top-notch. The staff were extremely courteous, well-mannered, and always ready to assist. A special mention to Mr. Santosh and Mr. Padmaraj from Zuri for their prompt and efficient support — I had misplaced a personal belonging, and thanks to their quick coordination, it was located and arranged for courier. Their professionalism and care truly made a difference. I highly recommend this resort and would love to visit again in the future!

One of the most exquisite properties in Kerala. This is god's own property in his own abode. The people at the reception were very friendly and the people who were taking the buggy were also very cooperative. Room service and housekeeping were also very cooperative. Our experience at the restaurant was also very nice. Taste of South Indian food was authentic and even taste of the North Indian food was awesome. Health club and spa were one of the best that we could have got. Special thanks to Pritam from the restaurant who was the nicest to us and made us comfortable. We recently hosted a corporate offsite with a group of 100 at The Zuri Kumarakom, and it was an absolutely seamless and memorable experience. The property itself is stunning—set amidst lush greenery and backwaters, it creates a perfect mix of tranquility and luxury. What stood out most was the exemplary service. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and cared for. The attention to detail, quick responsiveness, and genuine warmth made a huge difference to the overall experience. A special word of appreciation for Mr. Sarat, the General Manager, whose leadership was evident in every interaction; Mr. Santosh and Vineet, who were constantly on their toes assisting our group; and Chef Boman. Their collective efforts made sure our group felt not just hosted but truly looked after. In every way, The Zuri Kumarakom proved to be an exceptional choice for a large corporate gathering. We left with wonderful memories and the confidence that the hotel team can deliver top-class experiences consistently. Been to the property for a company offsite, we were approximately 100+ of us. While the location of the property is very good and the room layouts and facilities are more old schoolish. Room locations are excellent with every room either facing a pond or the lake. The staff is great and extremely helpful but the property isn't maintained very well and needs significant refurbishing. Also the food was very average and needs improvement.

The hotel is beautiful from the outside, however the rooms, service and food is not worth what you pay for and I can't see the hype. Our check in took ages and our room was not ready as they were too busy. Others were offered coconuts but only offered us some herbal tea. The rooms were dated and not clean. There was no hot water. Some of the light switches didn't work so we couldn't switch of a lamp, The shower outside had insects. At night there were sounds of mice or rats scratching on the wall. The service was dismal. It took ages to get a buggy to get to the room or to be picked up. The reception will inform you that they will be there in 5 mins but 30 mins later they are still not there. A workman came to sort the got water at night but didn't do anything as the water was still not hot or even warm. Breakfast/ dinner food was cold and unappealing. On the second night we just ate some fruit. Really wouldn't recommend it.
