Cromwell Manor Inn

Really great country inn, well situated for easy access to Storm King Art Center. We stayed in the Canterbury Room, which was spacious, bed comfortable, and amenities very welcomed. The grounds were lovely to walk around as was the farm store next door. I would definitely stay here again -- thank you Troy for being so upbeat and available. :)

The Cromwell Manor was our favorite part of our visit to New York City! It is such a peaceful, clean and friendly place to get away from the craziness of the city. Staff was super helpful. So much close by—restaurants, stores. We hope to return!

We stayed at the Cromwell Manor over 10 years ago and decided to stay here for a weekend trip away from the City. The Inn had a new manager, Troy who pays attention to detail and makes a huge effort to ensure his guests' comfort. We stayed in the 1764 House in the Beddingfield Suite. It was cold upstate, but the rooms will heated well and the suite was very clean and comfortable. It is an older house, so the floors creaked. The house is by the side of the big road, but it was not an issue. Troy made a cooked to order breakfast which was tasty and filling.

We went a little outside our norm for a corporate sales leader meeting and rented the entire Inn for our team to have our meeting and Holiday party. During the planning the owner and staff were quick to communicate and accommodate any requests. Upon arrival we received a tour of the property and each room has a special unique charm. They set up a 75" smart art/tv for our meeting presentations, provided delicious catering (breakfast, lunch and dinner). We were even able to get a breakfast favorite recipe (blueberry french toast)! The parlor was all decked out for Christmas and we had a blast playing games during our White Elephant gift exchange. The staff was on-site and always accessible and helpful. It was a very comfortable homey feeling where you could walk around without your shoes and build a different type of bond with your team than you get from the normal hotel settings. We enjoyed it so much we returned a few months later for a different sales team meeting. With new owners, they asked for feedback and by our second visit had already implemented all of our suggestions. If you've wanted to give the B&B setting a try, you should .... at least once ... and Cromwell Manor Inn is a great choice! Elan and team are great hosts! Troy the Inn keeper went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We had many requests and he handled each one with a great care. Will definitely recommend. The property itself is rich with charm and character. We left feeling fully recharged and rested.

I somehow found the House while looking for a place to stay with my spouse for my West Point class reunion. We booked the Windsor room for two nights and couldn’t have been happier with this decision. It is conveniently located by highway 9 so it makes for a great location to get back and forth from the base. But the location is secluded enough to make you feel like you are part of a getaway retreat. Our room looked out to the big backyard property while the leaves were changing colors in the fall. For those of you reading older reviews we found out that there are new owners and they are extremely friendly and truly excited to run the place. Troy and Elan went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. They were always around and approachable for anything you need.

This place is such a wonderful b and b! The grounds are spectacular. It is in a wonderful little town. Lots to see, great eating olaces. Service was 5 stars. Highly recommend! We were lucky to get a room on short notice and are so happy we ended up here.
