It has been years since I wanted to share feedback about a lodging experience online. I discovered Cromwell Manor Inn on Expedia when I spontaneously decided to spend a weekend at Storm King, just a short drive from the accommodations. I arrived around 8 pm after a long, rainy bus ride from Port Authority. Tory greeted me with the warmest welcome, and I instantly felt at home. He graciously took my bag and personally delivered it to my room, The Windsor, walking me through all the available amenities for my stay. Troy went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed before leaving me to the solitude I sought an hour outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The next day, he prepared a beautiful breakfast and assisted me in planning my trip to Storm King. Although I had only booked a two-night stay, on the second day, I had the pleasure of meeting the rest of the Cromwell Manor Inn family, including the wonderful owners. Troy treated me to another delicious breakfast, and I spent the remainder of my day exploring the grounds while witnessing the team joyously decorating the beautiful estate with Christmas decorations. Before heading back to the city, I had lunch next door at Jones Farm, following the Cromwell family's suggestion, and began planning my next stay. As a history buff, I was fascinated by the inn's history, feeling like I had been transported to another time. My room was cozy and warm, impeccably clean and well-preserved.

I liked Troy's eggs and blueberry pancakes. This property is poorly lit, with limited outlets, and feels like a fire hazard. The surrounding area is quiet but not serene. The region is called Storm King for a reason apparently.

The photos of this B&B are nothing like the house. It is dirty, worn down and at best a two-star. One of our rooms was in the original house. It was located on the street and was very noisy - we did not sleep all night. The second night we went to the pharmacy and purchased ear plugs. The bathtub had mildew, the windows have moss growing in between the panes. My son's bedding had blood on it and it was dusty and not clean. The windows in the houses were filthy and the rooms were not sanitary. There is one person working both houses - checking guests in/out, cleaning and trying to prepare breakfast. He is very enthusiastic but we had to wait over 1 hour for a breakfast scramble and it was just some eggs on a plate and not worth the wait. This was an expensive weekend and our rooms were over $600 each for 2 days - not worth the price and we were so disappointed. Go to the Hampton Inn and treat yourself to a breakfast and you will be WAY ahead.

Cromwell Manor Inn was a perfect setting for our 33rd anniversary. Communication in booking and prior to arrival was excellent. Upon Arrival , Troy, The Inn Keeper , was HAPPY to see us and showed us everything we needed for our stay. Room was Period perfect. Fireplace , antique vibe, very clean and the bathroom roomy. ( Weston). Though the Inn has many rooms and it was full capacity, it was extremely quiet. Breakfast is 8AM-11AM with both a continental and MADE TO ORDER hot breakfast varying each day. Enjoy in the large gathering room or outside on the patio with a view. All commons areas, patio and the large lawn overlooking Storm King perfect for happy hour, wine , cheese crackers, chill out. Close to many activities and restaurants . 3 minutes to Storm King Arts Center, Cornwall, 15 minutes to Newburgh and 20 to Beacon. Great Location. Many guests tied to events at West Point. IF having a show playing during your stay, get to VETREP Theatre in Cornwall. Advance tix required. Troy and CMI made our anniversary weekend just perfect.

Beds were great, linen clean and fresh. Troy, the manager, was very helpful. It's in a convenient location. The owner's suggestions f or dinner were spot on!

We enjoyed our stay! We were in town for an event at West Point, and the property was very convenient and just a short drive. Troy the inn keeper was a delightful host, and his delicious breakfasts were a highlight!
