Should have their own transfer to help those with flight timing that are unable to catch the ferry. Should have door and lock to the shower. Difficult for families to share room.

Paradise!!!! I have missed this resort from the day we departed. The food far exceeded our expectations and the beach was absolutely divine (snorkelling, free use of equipment, hammocks and day beds etc.). The staff work so hard to keep the resort running smoothly - they are superstars! My whole family was so relaxed and the children had a fabulous time in the pools and at kids club. We stayed for a week at the end of May (fabulous weather with only half a day of rain) and somehow got a great deal through booking.com ($700 a night!!) so I have not a thing to complain about!! Tours I recommend: Monuriki half day trip (exceptional snorkelling! Great for all ages) and the discovery dive tour (my first dive and it was incredible! Lots of sharks!)

My one tip in regards to food is to pay as you go, as the meal plans work out significantly more expensive.

Unsere Bure war schön und ruhig gelegen und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und umfangreich. Die Insel war traumhaft schön, klares Meerwasser und feiner Sandstrand. Es gab zahlreiche Wassersportmöglichkeiten wie Kajak, Segeln oder SUP. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns in dem Resort sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke an alle für die schöne Zeit.

An easy 1 hr ride by ferry from the mainland, we arrived on the islands white sandy beach to a warm welcome and informative induction of the islands facilities. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we were staying longer. Although the island is small, there was ample entertainment and activities for our young family, and disconnecting from the mainland (no wifi in the rooms) meant we were truly present and properly relaxed. The staff made us feel like family and nothing was an issue. The buffet was phenomenal and we will never forget the sunsets. Thank you for having us and see you again soon Castaway family.

Everything!!! The friendly and attentive staff, the pools, the beautiful beach (cabanas & lounges, beach bar, snorkeling right off the beach, free use of kayaks & gear etc.), the food, the tours (we did scuba, sand bar, Monuriki) and kids club. My children begged to go to kids club each day as the staff are so warm, inviting and fun! I honestly couldn’t keep my kids away! I met the head chef and he is incredibly passionate, talented and hardworking, and this is reflected in the food. Everything was super delicious!! My family/friends of 10 stayed for a week and it was heaven on earth. Thank you Castaway!

Food and drink costs do accumulate quickly (cocktails are $30fjd) so I suggest bringing some snacks, drinks etc. across from the mainland. Particularly if there’s days you just want to eat something small.

The most friendly resort staff we had ever come across in our lives. So kind and caring. Beautiful resort and beaches, definitely recommend
