Beach Colony Resort

We stay here every trip and love it there.

I had to change rooms 3 times, due to a leak in the first room from the sprinkler system and the bathroom fan falling as soon as I turned on fan. The second and third change was due to dirty rooms and mold in the shower. I booked a 2 night stay and left after the first night. I do not recommend this property.

One of the best hotels i have been to in my life !!

The room layout was nice but the unit was filthy. The floors were not vacuumed at all. There was a sock from a past guest. There were plastic tags from clothing tags on the floor. The bathroom was not nice. The shower grout was black in places. The shower curtain was moldy and the the rod rusted. The towel rack fell off the wall as the brackets were coming off the drywall. There was a puddle of rusty water under the phone. The property was nice. We liked the pools and outside bar which had good food. We loved having the lazy river, but there was no enforcement of the rules whatsoever, and all 3 times we used it, it was chaotic. It was definitely not a lazy river with kids and teens swimming, jumping, screaming, pushing past, running on the center island, jumping in and out, etc. The property seemed well maintained, just not the room. The surrounding area was nice. The location convenient.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in time and they accommodated us in a different type of room cheaper than the one that we paid for. We complained about it and on the following day they moved us to the correct one which was not clean enough. It was disappointing. The exterior of the resort is beautiful and enjoyable!

The room layout was great, but it needs a deep cleaning. Fridge was actually off and did not cool our food. Once deep cleaning and new linens are complete - the room will be amazing. The view is lovely!

Over all the stay was great. But the floors were dirty and the beds were hard as a rock with only a thin sheet.

Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely look to stay here again.

The room was not clean and it’s smell a lot like marijuana. The bathrooms did not have the essentials. The towels were not brought in until the third day housekeeping did not go into clean the rooms,No Toiletries.
