Peaks of Otter Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay at the Peaks of Otter Lodge. The lodge may feel a little dated, but it is very clean and well looked after. Our room was comfortable, with a good bed and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Dinner and breakfast at the lodge restaurant were both very tasty, with fresh food and generous portions. The staff were attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s a unique and peaceful place to stay — especially if you want to enjoy the scenery of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Asked for a 2nd floor, put me on the ground floor in a pet room that smelled like dog the whole time we were there. Window sills had dead bugs, not cleaned, wi fi was terrible.

What a great time we had here while doing some research in the area! Room was comfortable and clean, and the food and service in the dining room were excellent! I will definitely come back. Just the simple, peaceful balm needed in these tumultuous times.
