The review summary is spot on. This place is TIRED and in dire need of a refresh. Lots of maintenance issues and dated/worn fixtures. We asked for several maintenance fixes which never got done. Also, wasn't clean...trash on the floor whem we checked in and the mid-week service was the bare minimum towels and sheet exchange. No mopping, cleaning, etc...we felt like we always need to wear shoes because the floors were gross. It's more like a 1980s Motel 6 than a resort on a tropical island. 2 pools, but small and crowded, definitely more of a family vibe than a couples feel. Friendly staff, but not very many amenities. Also not close to much...if you want to explore the island, this is not an ideal place...every trip we took was 1-1.5 hours each way. Recommend staying closer/in San Juan. Maybe the price is right for what you get, but we were disappointed and wouldn't book again.

Pretty, organized, comfortable well equipped.

The master bedroom’s air conditioner was locked at 70°F. Pretty hot. Also unable to to turn it off. The floor was sticky.

"A nice place to stay"

It seems like people have been beating up this place and I really don't know why. Located about an hour out of San Juan it is in a nice area and has a Wal-Mart about 12 minutes away. There is also a nice surf shop called Kokomo in the same area that is worth visiting if you need a rash guard, hat or anything beach related. Our unit was clean when we arrived and everything was fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yes you can park down the street and save $25 per day. That works pretty good, just be careful that you don't get blocked in and be aware of the massive dirt potholes!! The beach near our unit had a lot of seaweed but further down there was not much and there were no rocks in the water so water shoes were not even needed. We didn't spend but a few hours at the pool as we were doing other activities in Puerto Rico. Friday and Saturday nights the bars and restaurants are hopping, be careful of the teen girls driving golf carts, they have a pedal to the metal mentality. We had a great time and plan to go back in a few years.
