Americas Best Value Inn St. Louis Downtown

The room was ok. The bathroom light was dim. The chair and rug had spots. The parking lot is horrible. No lock gate to keep your vehicle safe. The parking lot ceiling is falling apart.

It was right across the street from The Dome.

Nice rooms ,carpet needs shampooed.

On Expedia it says the check in is at 3, howevee it was 4 at the hotel. We had to wait in the lobby where I did not feel very safe. The rooms were okay but they is no coffee for the guests.

Maybe it was good at some point in the very distant past... Hotel is in terrible condition, the pictures are staged, so don't even look at those. Coffee in the morning? Forget it! Cleanliness? Forget it! Holes in the carpet? Sure! The walls with peeling and damaged paint? Sure. While it seems that amenities are there and the room has microwave and refrigerator, I didn't even open them, just based on the other things... Granted that hotel location is in downtown St. Louis and in great proximity to highway entrance plays in its favor, I can't possibly recommend this to anyone. The only exception is if you are passing through and concerned about price, you can stay there...

This property is dated and needs improvements. Its very walkable to attractions and cheaper than the nicer hotels. The parking is free and lighting was ok. My friend and i were approached in the parking lot by a drunk man and there were arguments by various people at all hours. They didnt clean the room while we were there nor provide clean towels. Didnt feel safe walking back from the game. The elevator broke the morning we left. I would not stay here again.

Check in was fine. Room very outdated carpet looked filthy and bugs in the bathroom. Was told they would have coffee in the lobby, but they dont. No coffee pot in the room .

Property is dirty, rooms are dirty, everything is dirty..

Never stay at that hotel!! We checked in got to our room, it wasn’t clean! Beds weren’t made and we checked out 19 minutes later. Bad area, dirty hotel!!!

Room had not been cleaned very good it had dust all over the place, furniture had lots of scratches on them, for a non-smoking room it had very strong odor of smoke, Not enough towels, no coffee in room or at front desk. Most hotels for the price I paid for this one would of been first class this one was not close at all.
