Las áreas verdes, su pequeño gym y que tienes la playa bastante cerca!

La desigualdad de la calidad de las habitaciones. Mis almohadas eran terribles, el teléfono no tenía tono, no ponían las toallas tomando en cuenta las personas alojadas en la habitación, no hacen limpieza diaria y te quedas sin papel higiénico y cuando pides no te dan, poca receptividad para entender al turista (por parte de UNA de las señoritas del lobby), el desayuno son algo deficientes no tienen variedad, un día tuve que pelear por mi bacon porque no me querían dar.

Although rated as a 3 star hotel that baffles me as this hotel accommodates your every need. The staff are fantastic, such kind people! Anyone that complains I'm sorry but its clearly them that's the problem as this hotel is fantastic! Would highly recommend

"An Experience That Fell Short of Expectations:"

I stayed at Sun Bay Hotel from December 29–30 for a birthday stay, and also as a way to personally assess the property before recommending it to my own clients. I approach reviews carefully and thoughtfully, as I am a business owner myself and understand that hospitality requires balance, communication, and accountability. Prior to arrival, I made clear inquiries about room quality and views, specifically requesting a room overlooking the pool or the sea, ideally with a balcony. Based on the information provided, I booked with the understanding that the room would offer a sea view. We arrived late and upon arrival, however, the room faced the road, with no sea view. This disconnect between expectation and reality set the tone for the stay. The front desk staff member at check-in was professional and respectful in her communication, and I appreciate that. However, when I raised the concern about the room, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternatives were available. While I understand occupancy constraints, I believe this was a moment where guest experience could have been better supported, especially given that the booking decision was made based on prior guidance. Later that evening, I noticed a housekeeping concern that further impacted my confidence in the stay. After returning from being out and before using the bathroom, I observed that one of the face towels placed on the rack already had visible makeup stains. There were two bath towels and two face towels provided, and one face towel was clearly not clean. I was not wearing makeup, which raised questions about room preparation and quality control. In addition, although the hotel is designated as smoke-free, there was a noticeable smell of marijuana. As an asthmatic, this affected my comfort and sense of ease. Taken together, these issues made it difficult to relax or fully enjoy the stay. I chose to check out before noon and did not use the complimentary breakfast, not out of inconvenience, but because the overall experience no longer felt aligned with the purpose of the visit. I share this review not to criticize, but to offer perspective. In hospitality, details matter, accuracy in communication, attention to cleanliness, and how concerns are addressed in the moment. While individual interactions were handled politely, the experience as a whole did not reflect the level of care I look for when recommending accommodations to others. With clearer communication, stronger housekeeping checks, and more guest-centered resolution, this property has the potential to leave a much better impression.

"A decent hotel."

Upon arrival my first impression was that I had made a mistake. To be fair I arrived late and it was dark. The walk to my room was not very good, things were a bit grubby. My room was tired looking. But.... the next morning after a good sleep I could see the staff hard at work maintaining the grounds and swimming pools. The hotel was very clean ,staff were very busy and attentive. My bathroom was decent with clean towels and a good shower. I requested a kettle from reception, later when I got back from my first day out, there was a kettle and two cups in my room. TV worked well. Breakfast was good enough, but don't expect meats and cheese. It was a pleasant experience overlooking the garden. Overall, great staff and I enjoyed eight nights here.

My daughter simply loved the pool and spent at least 2 hours enjoying, the entrance needs a more welcoming upgrade, the dust is penetrating the rooms and making the place stuffy

breakfast has no greens or vegetables - remained the same since my first stay in 2017 and the bed has aged in room 117, it needs replacement asap, first time encountering mosquitos in the room, and the walkway lights are too bright reflecting right into the room disrupting sleep
