(My friend booked this hotel while I was doing Hurricane Melissa relief effort) If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. First, this hotel is dated, even the locals say they don't hear good things about this hotel. Very dated, no life, no entertainment. If you want morgue -quiet....this is your place. The staff, especially in the dining area all look glum and gloomy, no smile or pleasantries. Reception/Front desk....Fair/businesslike Rooms....VERY DATED , had to ask for washcloths, iron and my ONE complimentary bottled water. No telephone (just cords hanging). Had to walk to reception three times to ask for necessaties that should have been in the room. Fridge empty. Hot water....pack your patience Housekeeping.....NOT daily Breakfast.....👎, same bland boring choices daily. It takes forever to get a simple omelette. The Women are very slow to help with flat facial expressions. And they are late with breakfast. The will rope the entrance so no one enters. No wait staff.. get everything yourself, no one offers not even water or ask if you are ok/ need anything else. (I ate out) Pool ...did not use Beach... ACROSS the street from the hotel via an open fence Gym...did not use. But, thanks to Zola at tour desk who assisted with one of my tours and interacted with me. The only human being at the hotel. Grounds are well kept. Man with leaf blower will wake you up at 7am. Do your research diligently. There are tons of other places to stay in Barbados.

Location good Rooms poor , mould , exposed electrics , unfinished decor , daily turn o er of guests who turn it into club 18-20 , complained about roudy neighbours and just got told “ there leaving tomorrow “ every night a nightmare sleep . Work men every day , breakfast limited , staff look fed up however polite . Constantly locked out of the room however managed to get steps in going up and down to get a key to work from reception. Would not stay here again but would recommend Barbados .

Dates of Stay: 13th - 24th November 2025 (Solo Traveller) Overall Rating: 3 / 5 I stayed here for 11 nights as a solo traveller and my experience was largely as expected for a 3-star hotel. It served as a functional, no-frills base, but has some significant drawbacks to consider. Let's start with the booking process: it was frustrating. I tried to book direct, but my phone calls and emails went unanswered for two days. In the end, I had to book through a third-party agent, The Good: · Spacious & Clean Room: The room was very spacious, which was great for a long stay. It was clean and kept tidy. · Essential Amenities Worked Well: The shower was excellent – strong and hot – and the air conditioning was effective, both crucial for comfort. · Pleasant Staff: The staff I interacted with were always very friendly and helpful. · Quiet & Uncrowded: As the hotel wasn't busy, I always found plenty of space around the pool, which was a major plus. The Not-So-Good: · Limited Facilities & Entertainment: Be aware that there are no other facilities besides a small gym and the pool. There is no entertainment at all. The bar was rarely open during my stay. · Basic & Repetitive Breakfast: The included breakfast is very basic and becomes repetitive quickly. The hot options were consistently scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns, and corned beef hash, alongside fruit, cereal, and drinks. Don't expect any variation. · Isolated Location: The hotel is located between Oistins and the Gap (St. Lawrence Gap). This means it's a bit out of the way. It's about a 20-minute walk in either direction to find more dining and nightlife, so you'll rely on buses or taxis. The beach is just across the road which is very nice but no facilities. · Dated & Infrequent Housekeeping: The decor is dated, and housekeeping came every other day. The Bottom Line: This hotel is a textbook budget option. You get a large, clean room with a great shower and air con. However, the lack of on-site amenities, repetitive food, and isolated location mean you need to be prepared to travel for entertainment and variety. I spent most of my time out exploring, so it was fine for my needs. I never had any major issues, but if you're looking for a hotel with a social atmosphere, daily activities, or convenient walk-to-everything location, this is not it. It does the job, but don't expect any more than that.

I enjoyed the breakfast. The pool area was well maintained.

I did not like the room that I was given. Room #115 should not be occupied until minor improvements are done. You could see rust under the AC unit and a water stain on wall from an old leak. The crown molding over the beds could use some caulking. Shower head shows its age with rust. On balcony in the upper right corner crown molding has mold from a leak. The walkway to the rooms had crown molding lying on the floor and stacks of tiles. Had to walk by a maid cart every day when not in use.The rooms need updating.

Quick response to changing of rooms and friendly and kind staff. The restaurant area was well kept and presentable.

Breakfast was average, didn't feel like we were at a hotel. Some of the served dishes were a bit too oily, the omelette was just egg & onions, with cheese. No other vegetables and this was disappointing. When moved into room, there was a scent of urine in the hallway which is an instant turn off at a hotel; there was woodlice in the bedframe, and this too made it uncomfortable. We did request a change in room which was granted. The hotel needs a major upgrade to continue to satisfactorily compete in the market. Also - please share directions or advise customers how to locate the hotel as it is not a well-known hotel (yet) and therefore was not found in the Waze app. Luckily, it was on google maps so we eventually found it after getting lost.

All the bad reviews are accurate. We had three rooms. the first was so small the two of us could not move around. the second room had mold and we ordered a Kind sized bed and were placed in a room with a full sized bed. finally we were given a larger room with a king bed but no blanket or towels. The pictures on the web site are no way near real. we were kept up all night with barking dogs. breakfast was minimal and the staff was rude. there are no vending machines and no place to get snacks. Transportation is okay but you need to know where you want to go. I will never stay here again

I found your house keeping team paid great attention to detail. The toilet had an issue which I did not report but by the time I returned to the room at end of day, the toilet was fixed and new parts installed. This was very impressive. I am a Resort Manager in St.Lucia at Anse Chastanet /Jade Mountain Resorts and eye for detail is very important. Your staff Kayma (Security) was indeed amazing. He was very helpful no matter most of the request was not his job. He is a very assertive and was very attentive to our needs. Please recognize him. Your property was very cleaned which I admired and your meals were very delicious. I like the package of having the breakfast included. There was also a tall receptionist whome I found very helpful, polite and attentive. She was the one who checked us in.

All in all is felt confortbale with regards to value for money.
