Angler's Hotel - Miami Beach

The location was perfect near everything I needed and wanted to do for Miami F1 weekend. The staff were excellent.

The carpet in the hallways had a not so nice smell to them coming off the elevator.

The hotel location was great. It was very quiet and cozy, our room was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. There were also good restaurants with healthy food within walking distance of the hotel

This wasn’t my first time visiting Miami. I’ve stayed at both expensive and budget hotels before, but this hotel truly had nothing that I didn’t like. In my previous hotels, there were always a few things I wasn’t happy with.

We had a wonderful time staying at this boutique hotel. Stylish, upscale and comfortable with a great location. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their Miami South beach experience.

My check-in experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I arrived on Friday during the Formula 1 weekend, when Miami was very busy. Despite having a confirmed and fully paid reservation, the hotel informed me upon arrival that they had no room available. They claimed this was due to a transition from Kimpton, saying reservations made before March were not valid. This explanation is very hard to believe, especially since neither the hotel nor the platform contacted us in advance. After long discussions, they suggested moving us to another hotel at our own expense. However, due to the event, no rooms were available anywhere. We asked to speak with a manager but were told they were in a meeting. We insisted the situation was unacceptable and requested written confirmation. After nearly two hours of waiting and making it clear we would not leave, we were suddenly told a room was available. My friend, who booked through a different platform, was told the same story—and a room also “appeared” for her. This made the situation feel dishonest, as if rooms were being held to resell at higher prices. I have traveled extensively and never experienced anything like this. I believe others should be aware.

I really like the location and the option to have room service as well as the 3 restaurant options at the hotel. The decor of the entire hotel, room size with the very large patio are excellent. The pillows are real goose down super comfortable, and I love the cappuccino machine inside the room. The shampoo and conditioner is very good. And I got two beach chairs at the beach included with my stay. Although I didn’t get a chance to use the bikes, we wanted to and it was a nice option to have. I also want to commend the bellman. He was amazing, so helpful and polite helping with out things from pullup to take off. There is public parking right around the corner for $20/night. I recommend this hotel and will return for sure.

My complaints are that water should be available to make the coffee included in the room. But I love the cappuccino machine. Also, we waited from 12:30pm - 4:00 to check in. We went for lunch nearby, but came back and still needed to wait 2 hours to check in.
