Staff absolutely phenomenal. From reception to buffet, bar staff and cleaners couldn’t do enough for you. Especially the entertainment guys yefrey, starling and Wesley. Fantastic spirit brilliant at their jobs, keep the fun going all night. Food incredible especially Italian restaurant. Would absolutely recommend to anyone

Staff very professional and makes customers feel very welcome

This resort is a good value for the price. The land on which it sits is gorgeous. Service upon arrival needs to improve. There was no one to welcome us and/or take our bags. Front desk customer service needs to improve as well. The property does not have air conditioning outside of the rooms. Food was okay but not great. The view from my room was excellent and we enjoyed the pool and beach. Great value but could easily be improved.

Just got back from 6 day holiday vacation and I would consider this one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Hallways and dining hall ceilings were constantly leaking and or looked damaged. Power and water went out daily. My son had got sick in the kids club because they barely have any air conditioning. None of the kids club activities really take place. Menu was all over the place. The excursion and timeshare sales guys are pushy and all over the front of the hotel. The beach is not private. Don’t expect to leave the resort. It’s on a huge hill with stray dogs and the little outdoor shopping area at the bottom barely has any businesses yet. Overall for the price and the hours from the airport, please do yourself a favor and look for a better option. 1 good thing - Spa is basic but nice

The view was absolutely amazing. The stay was worth it just for this. Unfortunately if you are looking for clear, beautiful water to swim in this is not the place for you. It’s more bay water than ocean water. The food was pretty good. Especially the breakfast. We went to two of the specialty restaurants and we weren’t crazy about either one. This could just be our preference though. We had no hot water two days when we were getting ready for the evening. The first time it took about 15 minutes to fix. The next time it was closer to an hour. They seemed to know what was causing the problem. It must happen often. Walking around the place I could see a number off repairs that they were negligent in. There are a lot of outdoor stairs with metal rails. I notice a few that were rusted out and obviously had been for awhile. They also were not working on them. (You can get around the property without using the stairs.) There were water leakage problems. They were working and not working on several water leak problems. Peeling paint was noticed on not real noticeable places. We have stayed at several Bahia Principe resorts and always enjoy our visits. This place did seem a little older than others. One thing that is present in all of their resorts is the wonderful and helpful staff. I really enjoyed them all. They are so friendly and smile whenever you say hello. Many of them do not speak English and I don’t expect them to. I am visiting their country after all.

Enjoyed every minute I spent here! My third visit since 2016, and no disappointments!! Amazing room views, food, and they earned a 100 on their entrainments programs!!

Amazing view Great service Buffet variety was also good But the food quality was extremely bad Careful with any seafood they serve, this includes fish and shellfish.
