The location of the Inn was perfect and within walking distance of shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor but also very quiet and peaceful! Just a short drive to Acadia entrance. The breakfast was very good and afternoon tea was as well! We stayed three nights. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The view was of the side yard with trees and plants, a few side porches with rockers or tables and chairs to enjoy coffee or read a book!

"Lovely historic BnB in Bar Harbor, Maine"

A beautiful historic inn in Bar Harbor, ME. Good location for getting to and from Arcadia National Park. Also, convenient for good restaurants nearby. We had a lovely room at the top of the stairs. It was quite large. The breakfasts were okay, as you do have a choice of two items. My husband is dairy free and they tried to accommodate him, however, the treats all have dairy that they make each day. Also, the food can be a bit spicy -- so be sure to check when they describe the breakfast options. The chef likes his black pepper and spices! They do have a shared refrigerator for your items and an ice machine. We did enjoy staying at this inn.

The Primrose Inn was perfect in every way! The room was even more beautiful than pictured! The service was exceptional - Anna was a great hostess when we arrived; Billy worked so hard and quickly to serve us breakfast and Brandon was attentive to everything we needed, even finding a recipe that I asked about bc the treat was so delicious. The breakfast was amazing! We ate every bite. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at The Primrose Inn!
