The Primrose

The Inn is so lovely. Full of character and charm. Our room was not big (room#6) but all we needed and so tastefully decorated. The bed very comfy. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect with just a short walk to everything in downtown Bar Harbor. The breakfast was excellent. Two very nice options to choose from with coffee and juice. Perfect. Coffee was available for us early risers! We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at the Primrose Inn. Our room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. They had fresh poppyseed bread for guests, tea time in the afternoon, and amazing service. Everyone was kind and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff has great hospitality, we experienced good service at all hours, even when we arrived around 11 at night. Parking was very easy and convenient. Breakfast was amazing both mornings and the afternoon snacks were a yummy and nice touch.

The Primrose Inn surpassed our expectations. The decor & amenities were current while emphasizing the historic architecture. Our room was quiet & very comfortable. The staff was kind, personable while very professional. We found the breakfast and tea time choices very delectable. We look forward to our next visit and highly recommend the Primrose Inn.

Always feel welcome at The Primrose. The rooms are tastefully decorated, & if there's something amiss the staff will make it right. As a single traveler I always feel safe & not out of place, but if you want romantic that's very possible as well. The included breakfast is always great (they will personalize it for allergies/etc.), and there's an afternoon spread of pastries as well. Highly recommend!
