The Shore Club Wisconsin, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We had our first annual girls trip get-a-way - and settled on Elkhart Lake, because of this cute boutique hotel! The rooms were fun and modern - and very clean! We went a little early from Peak season, so we missed the beautiful sandy beach, outdoor pool and hot tub. But we enjoyed the indoor pool and game room, and chilling in our room! The staff was wonderful, and if you see Pam - say hello, she was so kind, welcoming, and full of energy! There was also another front desk gal who was a college student, and she had amazing recommendations of places to see, visit, and eat! Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Beautiful place but the bed was very very uncomfortable. I had 1 issue and they sent an employee to my room right away which was amazing. My room had a door to adjoin it to the next room and the deadbolt did not work so the 2 were accessible to each other all the time. This was creepy since i could hear someone on the other side..... besides that the place was beautiful and the room was very nice.... just an fyi.... no place delivers food in the area. i tried several places, even the ones the staff suggested for delivery, and they did not deliver.

The room was updated, clean and spacious. Our kids loved the indoor pool and game room. The food at the Cottonwood Social was super tasty and the staff was lovely to deal with. I even did a little shopping at the adorable store in the lobby. We will definitely come back!

Bad service. Took a while to get checked in. Our TV wasn’t working and nobody answered the phone, no matter what number we tried. I even sent an email. The next morning they said that the Internet for the phones was down. Wouldn’t you think they would leave a note under peoples doors or something to let them know? Or have somebody’s cell phone to reach? We were told there was nobody at the lobby by the person next to us. So I didn’t verify that. Just believed them since nobody answered the phone. They have a $50 pet fee, so I paid over $300 for a regular hotel room which was way too expensive since there was nothing going on, it was totally off-season! You could hear the person next to you snoring and their TV and when someone came in late at night. At first I was very impressed because the rooms were nicely redone and spacious. But sadly, the lack of service, sound from Next Door, and Price made us no happy.

I recently spent 4 days here, what a lovely hotel! The rooms were gorgeous, the food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Such a beautiful place, I walked all over the area, sat by a pretty beach right on the property, and enjoyed a dip in the pool. This was my first time going to Elkhart Lake, I highly recommend the Shore Club!

Our room is great! A patio, kitchen with full refrigerator and everything we need for a week. Location is very close to Whistling Straits. Have found two great restaurants so far. Love the atmosphere! The owner and front staff have been extremely helpful.

So much potential at this facility but unfortunately too many issues on this visit. First, we were preapproved to check in after lunch. So we got there at about one and even though there were very few guests, our room was not ready till almost 3 o’clock, the normal time. The condo was nicely decorated but dirty. Underneath two burners on the stove there was a mess including pasta. The blades on the ceiling fan clearly had not been cleaned In a year! Also dust on top of the air conditioning units and window sills. The cable service went out multiple times including during the Packers on Monday night football in the third-quarter when they were losing 17 to 14 and returned in the fourth quarter when they were up 35 to 17. I called the three numbers provided for service and no one answered. I went to the lobby office which was open but unattended. I rang the bell several times sound it out hello and nobody was there. Tuesday morning the cable system malfunctioned again. In face-to-face conversations, the staff was pleasant but generally ineffective except for a nice lady who brought coffee to our condo since that was missing. For what we did not get, it was expensive. Buyer beware if you are going there!

They shouldn't really be considered open. Room dirty, shower gross, office usually empty-door locked, restaurant closed, see pic for "breakfast" at 8am (empty bowls and no coffee) dogs barking all the time, and no one around or answering phone to help with the issues... and we were there on labor day weekend.
