Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport - BWI

I stayed at the hotel for one night because of a wedding anniversary I was attending. The hotel was on the invitation as one to consider in the area. I booked and paid for almost a month in advance. Upon arrival the front of house ladies were so friendly ,the top tier of professionalism and charm . Got my key card , from an early 5AM train from NY . The NIGHTmare ! Upon opening the door the room reeked of mold Dusty I have pixs . I immed went to front desk , did not want to even sit . was told no rooms avail . Mgr Scott who was RELUCTANT to be involved , magically found an acceptable room after wasting an hour . The new room , was okay had open spaces with mold in the shower , but I could deal with . Just wanted to rest and be gone for anniversary celebration. My point : this hotel to give anyone a room in a putrid state as the first totally UNACCEPTABLE. Not what I thought of this hotel chain. STRANGE Hotel Mgr Scott neither wanted to go bad room for a sniff and look see or seemed at all concerned

I was charged 2 times and was told it was taken care of and it never was. Now my bank account is in overdraft because the hotel is charging me again and I am no longer there

I had an event at this location. Some of the guest did not get the honored rate. I was told because they booked the room 2 days before the actual event date. If you are having an event there make sure to check out the linen. It was extremely wrinkled. I was told that they didn’t have a press machine at that location. Not my problem. They also did not have matching napkins for the table cloths. I had wrinkled white table cloths and wrinkled black napkins. (My colors were white and gold) It was my mom’s 80th birthday party with 125 guest. I removed the wrinkled napkins from the head table and took them to my suite and ironed them myself. At least she wouldn’t see how wrinkled the napkins were. The following Monday I requested to be compensated for the mismatched table cloths and napkins and the fact that the linen was extremely wrinkled.($7963.61) I was told that they were sorry, but they could not compensate me for the condition of their table cloths and napkins. So make sure you check out everything before booking an event there and get it in writing. You have to pay gratuity and taxes for everything. I rented the projection screen. (Gratuity and taxes)

The location was convenient to our purpose for visiting.

The bed was uncomfortable, the breakfast was cold, noisy hallway, the floor had trash on it when we entered, the parking was far from the entrance.
