For a 5 star hotel I expect higher English level from the staff. I ordered room service for breakfast but once they didn't show up. Told the hotel about it and didn't say anything. When I checked out I found a lot of items are not consumed by me. Then the hotel explained that those costs belong to another room and they were already paid. When I added the rest together the price he showed me was still 3000 pesos more expensive than what I should pay. The most scandalous thing is that the waiter for room service added tips by himself on my bill. I've never seen this level of cheating and it damaged completely my view about this hotel and I'll definitely tell everyone I know never to come to this hotel.

This is a gorgeous property, about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by taxi from the city center. It is very peaceful and calm, and really well maintained. There is a pool, a jacuzzi, a spa, a gym with high-end equipment, a playroom for kids, a small movie theatre and lots of beautiful terraces and corners to just sit and enjoy. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms beautiful. Bathroom amenities are from Occitane. Some of the rooms have windows facing the corridors, this is based on the property's setup.

Liked everything...very cool this hotel has a movie theatre. Extremely clean and staff was wonderful!!! highly recommend it.

Only problem with this perfect retreat in Guanajuato was the hot water for the shower. It was not consistent. That aside, the staff was amazing and gave us a tour of the hotel upon check-in. The rooms were so beautiful. It would have been nice to get a cup or two of coffee free with the room stay. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is beautiful! I stayed here last November and it was about a 10/15 minute drive from the downtown bustle of Guanajuato. I preferred staying away from downtown as I was in town for a wedding and wanted to sleep peacefully (downtown Guanajuato can be very loud at night). As for the hotel itself, it is beautiful. Walking through the hotel was like a maze, at each corner there was some unique architecture. The rooms are clean and provide you with name brand toiletries. I ate dinner and brunch at their main restaurant, the food was great. The staff was more than accommodating. Overall the experience was very nice & my only regret is that I didn't stay longer. During my trip to Mexico, I stayed in three different hotels. This by far, was my favorite. If you are visiting Guanajuato, I recommend staying here.

The rooms were quite well appointed and supplied with everything one would want. The staff was very helpful and dinner and breakfast service very good.
