Puri Lumbung Cottages, Restaurant & Spa

Excellent experience from start to finish!

I loved the natural setting. Very peaceful and amazing view. The food was great. Wonderful massages and activities available.

After 8 days in Ubud dodging traffic and noise, the escape to Munduk and the Puri Lumbung Cottages was welcome. Lovely views over rice fields to distant mountains and the sea. Cottage was basic, but comfortable. Downstairs bathroom added to a reconfigured rice storage shed. No a/c, but higher elevation meant cooler temperatures. Staff was helpful. Good hikes and other excursion options.

We loved here a lot. We will come back here next year again!

This is a charming hotel with breathtaking views from the rooms. Our villa (#33) had the best view. The landscaping around the hotel and around every villa is done lovingly and with attention to detail - ponds with lotus flowers and koi fish, little waterfalls, flowery bushes, lush green rice paddies....

Each cottage has wonderful views of the rice fields with a balcony. The cottages are designed in a traditional style. Very romantic.

The staff couldn't find my booking at the beginning so so they had to add the extra bed for us and asked us to leave the key to hotel after we checked in. There must be some animals lived under the same roof of the room. We saw some animal's turd on our bed sheet and floor,and we heard the sound in the evening. Others are OK, but the room we had closed to the Lotus Coffee and it was very noisy in the evening for the dancing show.

It really surprised me. The whole space is a beautiful village of cottages having great mountain view. When you sat on the balcony it's really relax. Staffs were very friendly. Although there was no TV in room, hotel and staffs arranged some activities. Won't feel boring at all.

Great spot up in the mountains, wooden cottages with bathrooms dotted about amongst the rice fields. Amazing views, good service and food, knowledgeable staff - thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful carved veranda doors. Bathroom could do with updating but a minor criticism
