Puri Lumbung Cottages, Restaurant & Spa

We had a lovely three night stay here. The staff were excellent and the hotel has fantastic views, comfortable rooms and nice restaurant. The hotel appears to do a lot in the local community with staff from the area and an excellent evening of Balinese dancing from the local school and young apprentices serving. The hotel has large grounds which are immaculately kept, make sure you spend some time exploring them and the lovely walks that are easily accessible directly from the hotel. A really good stay up in the cool hills!

This hotel consists of cottages spread out along a ridge. There are great views of the valley from some of the cottages and from the "Sunset Bar". The rooms are colorful, but can be slightly inconvenient - lots of steps. The water heater in our bathroom was pretty unreliable. Wifi coverage was quite weak in the area of our cabin (#33), but our balcony may have had the best view of all. The restaurant is quite good, which is nice, since the place is pretty isolated.

Balinese wood and stone architectural features, high in the hills and surrounded by rice paddies with views of the tree tops and mountains, quiet restful environment, resort used for spiritual retreats. We stayed there in rainy season so treking was limited. Excellent staff service.

The setting and grounds were beautiful. Good food no pool. Outdated room with little space And awkward bathroom.

The views and atmosphere of the cottage are very relaxing. The trekking around is quite good and far from crowds in South Bali. Amenities of the room are quite basic but of good quality. The place is clean and it was a very pleasant stay overall. As they are a lot of crickets around, it can be noisy during night time and I would recommend to bring earplugs if you are sensitive.

The hotel is located right near the start of town, which is very convenient for exploring. The grounds and gardens are absolutely breathtaking, as are the views from many of the rooms. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful, offering suggestions for various tours, cooking classes, and spa services. We ate at the restaurant for each of the 3 days during our visit and enjoyed delicious meals. This hotel serves as a great base for which you can explore and do many waterfall hikes, or relax on your balcony while drinking tea and reading a book. We had a great stay!

We stayed in a beautiful cottage with a very traditional feel and look.It was in a very picturesque location with a number of walks around the surrounding area. The climate was cooler and there was no aircon but air moving through the cottages kept it coll. The food was very nice and it was a very enjoyable stay.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We felt like we were in the middle of nature and the view from our cottage was breath taking. The staff were great and we did a few guided excursions that we really enjoyed. The criket sings really loudly in the morning and before sundown. You have to like to be surrounded by nature!

This was an absolutely beautiful resort located in Munduk in the mountains of Bali. They have their own farm right on premise and all of the food you eat is grown on-site. The fruits and vegetables taste amazing! The cottages are beautiful, staff is amazing, My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and we absolutely loved it. The hot coco is awesome in the morning and I loved the afternoon tea and snack at the sunset bar. The grounds are gorgeous and you can hike to two waterfalls right from your cottage.
