Absolutely adore this spot! Staff were great - except for one waitress in the restaurant who decided our child shouldn’t eat tiramisu and so she told us it was sold out. Was pretty judgemental. Everyone else was fantastic and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Veldig flott hotell! Nydelige omgivelser og føltes litt luksus. Veldig sjarmerende og godt vedlikehold. Vi bodde her kun en natt, men hadde ikke hatt noe imot en uke her. Barna koste seg i bassenget og bassengområdet var veldig koselig. Litt lite renhold rundt sitteplassene ved bassenget, men ellers topp på renhold ellers.

The pool was the best part. It was very big and refreshing. The room was a family room and our teenage girls had a room to themselves so very spacious. The staff were friendly and always on hand to help. i loved the old fashioned keys to the door. So rare to find these days. I thought it was very good value for the price. Thank you Etna Hotel - we will return soon.

I didn’t like that you pay extra for the pool towel as we had our own towels and were not informed by a sign or by staff that you pay extra for a pool towel. We have been traveling for two weeks at hotels with pools and no where else charges for towels. It would be very kind to provide this to make the hotel ever better.

Check in was smooth and let us into room early, room was clean and spacious shower good. Breakfast plenty of choice staff attentive especially with one of us being gluten free. Pool and view fantastic. Need a car to get around however train station 30min walk Giarre not much to do or see. No outside food or drinks allowed. Bar staff attempted to double bill so ensure if paying cash to ask for receipts, otherwise when checking out will try and overcharge. Overall plesent and be prepared to travel Gluten free choices limited at on site restaurant, but gluten free bakery 5 min walk from hotel would return in the future

I loved my stay at Etna hotel! Especially the pool so clean and fab setting. Gardens pretty and our room was so clean done every day. Also Romantic setting in the evening dining outdoors in a beautiful courtyard and food excellent. Breakfast fruit salad and home made yogurt really good plus scrambled eggs and variety of hams cheeses breads. Friendly staff and when we caught the train from Giarre to Taormina we organised a taxi through the hotel reception to bring us home from Giarre to the hotel as it’s a 30 minute walk. To book trains go on Omio app and train travel such good value as we didn’t want to hire a car. Thoroughly recommend staying here would come back very good value and well managed.

This hotel is in the most stunning location over looking Etna It is the ultimate in relaxation. The staff were fabulous and always ready to help. Breakfast is continental with a wide range and the home made yoghurt and croissants are delicious. We stayed 10 nights and did not want to leave. There is a restaurant attached which was fabulous. Sunbeds were always available and it is the nicest pool I have been in, beautiful and the perfect temperature. It is away from town though so be aware a car is recommended if you want to do lots of exploring. We used the train which is a 20 minute walk but are used to walking so for us it wasn't a big deal. The hotel does bike hire and they are really good. The roads seem chaotic but we found drivers were respectful to bikes and pedestrians. We managed a ride to Pozzillo and Stazzo. Highly recommend the 16k journey for a Sicilian experience. Sicilians are lovely people so be brave and explore.

What a gem, had a weeks wonderful stay. Excellent room clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Very present pool area very clean with a small bar for drinks and snacks. Really good restaurant with excellent menus.

Amazing service. Nothing was too hard. All requests were accommodated with a smile. From the great food in the restaurant, which accommodated for a fixed menu as well as a la carte. Reception staff were attentive and household staff were all friendly. The hotel was very clean and rooms spacious. An amazing, relaxing and memorable stay.
