Etna Hotel

Here’s a polished review you could post: --- We had a wonderful stay at Etna Hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond by organizing a fantastic trip to Mount Etna for us, which was truly unforgettable. Everything was well arranged and stress-free, making our holiday even more special. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality — we can’t wait to come back! 😊

Merveilleux ! Les 3 personnes que j'ai vu à l'accueil ainsi que tous les employés sont très compétents et polyglottes. Nous avons eu la chambre familiale avec un petit jardin. Propreté impeccable et la salle de bains était spacieuse. La piscine est un petit bijou détente garantie après une journée bien chargée ! Avec vue sur l'Etna 😉 Nous étions en voiture et le parking gratuit est également un atout.

Un chouette hôtel pour sillonner les alentours, Taormina, Acireale, Etna. Nous avions une chambre spacieuse avec une grande salle de bain le tout très propre et surtout avec une petite terrasse donnant sur la très agréable piscine et face à l’Etna! L’ambiance est très tranquille! Le petit déjeuner agréable sur la terrasse et correct.

Le cadre somptueux meilleure chambre de l'hôtel avec une vue imprenable du mont Etna depuis notre terrasse. Chaque dîner était vraiment délicieux nous avons goûté tous les différents plats... Un vrai régal quand au service et au personnel juste parfait très gentils et souriants vraiment top

From the moment I arrived at the Etna Hotel, the reception staff set the tone with a warm welcome and genuine helpfulness. Every question was answered with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble. I chose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant every night of my stay – and I’m so glad I did. The two people running it deserve special mention for their friendliness, attentiveness, and the consistently excellent food. The atmosphere each evening was relaxed yet refined, and the service was simply fantastic. Breakfast each morning was perfect – exactly what I needed to fuel a day of adventures, whether trekking up Mount Etna (beautifully arranged by the hotel) or taking a trip to Syracuse (again, the hotel organised my taxi to the station – Vecchio Taxis were also brilliant). As a solo traveller, it means a lot when staff engage and make you feel genuinely welcome. The entire team here were on top form, turning a good trip into a truly memorable one. My bedroom was simple but functional, with a bathroom to match – everything clean and in good working order. The pool area was immaculate, clearly cared for with real attention to detail, and the optional extras such as bike hire were a nice touch. De ansatte var vennlige og imøtekommende. Hotellet var omgitt av frodig natur på tre kanter. Maten som ble servert var god. Bassengområdet var behagelig.

Terrible service and restaurant. The main dishes came to the table after 2 minutes from ordering. Two Swordfish filets and two lasagna’s. The lasagna’s were cold and not ready. After complaining at the waitress. She told us the food came out of the micro wave and she could put it a little bit longer. And this was just the beginning. The room was clean! That was one of the possitive things. There was een good working airconditioning what was nice as well. Our bed felt like it could brake down any moment, just when i sat down on the bed. It starts shaking all the ways possible. In our room was a door that was connected to another room. It was so close that you could hear litterly everything of the neighbours. When in a conversation with my partner. You have to whisper. Because people could hear you or maybe waken up. Not a pleasent way thinking you’re in your own room. The pool was verry fresh. And every day fillt with fresh water and cleant over night. And you could relax seriously good on the benches beside the pool. The breakfast was nice timed. You can start the day easy and not to early. But the scrambled eggs where taste less, coffee was poor. And if anything was finished, they didn’t refill it. The most of the workers were nice. But never asked if anything was good. Even with checking out. The people at the reception didn’t aksed how the stay was.

This hotel was pure perfection. 3 kid, my wife and I, were there for 10 days in July 2025. The hotel is visually beautiful, the pool was so clean and well kept. The service for dinners was high end restaurant style and the staff were amazing. From reception staff who go above and beyond for any requests you have, to the cleaners who work hard, do an amazing job and always have a smile and a "bonjourno" in the passing. Last but not least, the taxi service they call for you were also amazing. Father and 2 sons run one 7 seater taxi, and we ended up using them daily via their personal WhatsApp. 2 of our kids have slight autism and struggle with noisy crowds. This hotel doesn't have a huge amount of rooms. So the numbers were low and the type of guests were respectable and easy going people. It made a big difference for us around the pool and obviously through the night for sleeping. To top it all off, we had a famous volcano as a backdrop. We loved you, Etna Hotel, and we will be back.
