Small friendly place. Needs a refurbishment in some areas

No major issues

We liked its age and it’s history we found out that it was built in 1718 so a very old building with a lot of character this we liked

Unfortunately it needed a lot of refurbishment which they have already started but still need an awful lot doing to it. The windows are rotten and a lot of paint on the outside outside needs doing to make it more pleasing to the eye unacceptable

Staff were great especially the one Mail who worked the afternoon shifts oth Sunday and Monday night. Couldn't do enough for us.

The place is a grand building it is just r7n down with lots of things out of order and old and dated.

The room was ok a little dirty but nothing crazy, my daughter had a cheer comp and at 11pm the reception staff were so noisy they woke her and me up it was so loud i ended up shouting for them to stop and they heard but continued anyway! would never go back

Staff talking loudly after hours! burnt croissants and pastry at breakfast

Nice location and staff.

Air temperatures in the room made for difficult sleeping. Air conditioning is not available in this hotel.

Breakfast was good and the leisure facilities namely gym and pool are great

Dated and a bit rough around the edges. Room was tired also could do with a refresh as paint doesn’t cost the earth.

Lovely staff. Great value. Lovely location

Could do with a coat of paint on the building outside if I’m being ultra picky but honestly for the price you won’t get better value
