Karma Salford Hall Hotel

This was a beautiful old mansion hotel where the staff went out of their way to meet our every need. The location was perfect for long country walks and lazy afternoons in quiet country pubs. Each evening we and our dog settled down in front of one of the open fires and read while enjoying a glass or two of wine.

The ambience of the whole place was just perfect. A place loaded with history. Built centuries ago and brought into modern times in a complementary way. Four poster bed was a bonus. Food was fabulous, especially the fish. Curries were also really good. Breakfast was huge if you had the full cooked and looked great, I went for continental, varied and very good.

Hotel is listed and has not been properly maintained. Lots of simple faults but no one resolving them. It needs some loving and it could be a great hotel again. We had a room opposite the main house that was really a basic traveloge style. Clean and simply a bed and bathroom. Heating temperamental wall papered but areas missing and floor tiles in bathroom repaired with non matching tiles?? Food and drink in main hall good. Bar has nice atmosphere. The presentation we attended related to a version of time share and depending on your level of interest they wheel out various bonus attraction. We were not interested. Overall nice few days away in the Cotswolds but cannot say we will rush to return.

What a wonderful place! We had the most wonderful 4 night stay at Karma Salford. So inviting to say the least. There was no reason to leave the resort, everything is provided right there, including great company, a beautiful room and plentiful daily special events. Spending the last few days of 2025 and the start of 2026 was the best way to celebrate. Cameron and Lizzie were outstanding hosts, welcoming and helpful every minute. When our stay was done, I felt like I was leaving long time friends. I hope our paths cross again someday! Cheets from Canada.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart for making our big day extra special!. We cannot thank the staff enough for all they did for us, especially Ellie who was our amazing planner❤️ We are so happy it all went smoothly however very upset we will not be coming over to the venue regularly for meetings! However we will be sure to keep popping over to taste the amazing food and drinks. Christmas day menu was also amazing, thank you again for having us! Love Mr and Mrs McStay ❤️

My husband and I spent 3 nights over the New Year. We loved the hotel, and were really impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were generous, and we enjoyed dinner in the Tempest restaurant and much appreciated the complimentary glass of prosecco on NYE. We would particularly like to say thank you to Cameron for the cocktail masterclass, great fun!

My wife and I had our wedding reception, meal and party at Karma following our wedding in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was a truly special day and we would recommend it to others. Our wedding co-ordinator Ellie was brilliant throughout the whole process from booking the venue 12 months to the wedding day itself. We had a number of well informed meetings and she & Karma catered to our desires for our wedding day. The building and gardens looked exquisite on the day. The guest rooms in both the main building and our building were fantastic. We also would like to thank the staff on duty on our wedding night, for keeping all the guests happy and making the transitions between different parts of our wedding celebration smooth. Our only disappointing part was breakfast the next day finished at 9:40am when it was advertised to finish at 10am meaning some of our guests that were staying couldn’t have a hot breakfast. The waitress on duty was very apologetic and tried to help. Overall it was good value for the money we paid for our wedding. The rooms were also reasonable value for money. It is close enough to a few lovely towns & villages in the Cotswolds but we would recommend having your car to use. Apart from that we don’t have a bad word to say. We had a fantastic day in a beautiful hotel. Andy & Sophie

Fantastic Christmas break in a beautiful historic hotel. All the staff at Karma Salford Hall are so warm, friendly, and helpful that we can't single out one or two of them, but instead want to express our thanks to everyone. The food was tremendous, especially the Christmas lunch (five courses, different selections for each of us, everything delicious), and the dinner for my parents' anniversary. We will be back! Happy New Year everyone.

We love this resort. Ancient beams, leaded windows, cosy log fire and friendly ambience. Thanks to the garden staff for the beautiful grounds. the chef for our delicious meals, housekeeping for the big fluffy white towels and the guy from reception who provided a fascinating history tour of the house. A very enjoyable break.
