Karma Salford Hall Hotel

Definitely not advised if you want peace and relaxation. There was a party in a gazebo below our window. It was so loud the windows were shaking. Staff were not concerned when I told them I should have been advised of the noise beforehand. Place needs an update. Carpets were threadbare on the stairs. Also don’t bother ringing reception they don’t answer.

Regularly go to Karma Salford hall for Business / Social meets, the staff are always friendly and well mannered! Good variety of drinks and the food is superb.

Lovely old fashioned hotel. Nice and warm with some open fires which suited it. Staff very friendly and adhered to our needs. Water pressure and temperature in shower not the best but nothing to really down mark against. We had a meal on the Sunday night which I thought was slightly overpriced. My husband went for the roast dinner. The beef was stunning, but the rest of the dish was quite standard. I opted for the cod which I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was a standard continental and had the items you would expect. You can upgrade to cooked items but that was quite pricey. Overall we would go back. It’s in an ideal location and everything was clean and tidy.

We came in for a drink on Wednesday night and we were served by a wonderful young lady on the bar called Gracie. We felt very welcomed by her service. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotless. We will definitely be back soon as our experience was very pleasant.

Salford Hall wonderful as usual It’s a delightful place which we repeatedly go to being just about a 2 hour drive from M25 /M40 The location and the rooms are very very nice.The staff are helpful and friendly The kitchen was down so could only get convenience food for those days. The breakfast is good but on too smaller plates and completely help yourself these days I preferred it when it was waitress service, the cooked breakfast is a bit expensive I think but very good. The dinner menu was not good this time but mostly due to the kitchen breakdown The menu generally is a bit limited and less adventurous than it used to be but the dinning room is very nice and has an elegance about it. We keep Going back which says it all but we eat out a bit more often these days in some very good restaurants in the surrounding area. It’s a beautiful area

I initially was invited to experience a 3 night experience in a old historic luxury hotel for £240inc VAT, with a real view to buying into a holiday membership with Karma. I received so many emails from Karma about rules and requirements in which I found over the top as I have travelled the world and not experienced this style. I assume that the management have some type of issues when managing a small hotel. I viewed the web site and noticed they had premier rooms and I requested for a paid up grade which was denied. I noticed my rate included bed and continental breakfast and I again asked if I could pay extra to upgrade to a cooked breakfast as I read some negative reviews and again refused. Upon arrival I found the building isolated with nothing walkable. I checked in and saw my room in which I was disheartened. The room had shabby mix matched furnitures, uncomfortable bed, stains on the carpet and a horrible smell. I immediately decided that this was not the type of holiday program I wanted to become a member and checked out. I really don’t need a 3 night stay for £240 which does not meet standards near to what travel lodge offer. In summery if this company really want to market their products they need to change their marketing tactics and offer guests the best rooms, great choice of breakfast and not treat guests as free loaders and children. It’s very easy to ask details about financial capacity to establish the clients ability to buy into a program. Very disappointing and I will be demanding a full refund and costs for 6 hours of fuel. Mis sold and not fair on potential genuine clients.

After arrival we had a lovely afternoon making scones for a cream tea, our room was adequate, but had nice cupboard space for clothes, the next morning we went down for breakfast and the staff didn't even welcome us or explain how things worked. In the evening we went to the bar for happy hour, but as the staff were doing the bar & serving dinner we had to find someone to serve us (we asked fo two sweet rose wines only to be given dry). We then went through for dinner, after ordering & asking that the meals came out together , we had to wait alm1 hour after food was bought out at intervals, we also had to wait for water, my pizza was burnt on the bottom and not cooked completely on top. We stayed at this property as it's where we joined Karma in April 2023, thanks to Andrew Eastham being a great Karma rep, sadly he is no longer with the company. This visit we didn't even know who the Karma rep was as he didn't have the decency to say hello or make himself known. If this had been our first taste of the Karma Group we would not have joined, very disappointed with how this property has gone downhill.

This trip was for our Wedding Anniversary & we chose the Stratford-on-Avon area for its charm. The Hotel was a great find. The staff & Hotel was warm & welcoming. Our room was excellent, quirky & comfortable. The games room was a bonus with a full size Snooker table, but the equipment & cues need some attention 😕 The restaurant & staff were lovely, but the kitchen was experiencing some mechanical issues & as a result we couldn't have the menu that we had set our hearts on 😕 Overall a nice stay & if the problems can be overcome we will return 😊

Great place. Property is old but well kept. Room is big, clean and comfortable . We slept well. A bit away from town and places of interest. Self drive is recommended.

Lovely old hotel , clean bedrooms and staff very helpful . Arrived early , but the staff where accommodating allowing early check in
