I decided to write a review due to the staff who were totally untrained. After checkout, a week later, I realized that the deposit was charged to my credit card although I only spent around 40$ for a dinner at the hotel. I called multiple times just to receive the same answer: Please talk to a manager xxx and I will transfer you, since I can’t take your request. I left a voice message for that manager the last time my call was transferred to her. She called back and could not even find a record of my stay in the system. When I told her I had booked it through Booking.com, she asked me to send the booking confirmation via email. I did- and have not heard from her since, which was way back in September. I followed up twice and still did not hear from her. I know I will need to call the customer services of Renaissance to have this issue resolved. I hope it will be. However how the Renaissance Providence staff handled this simple case was not professional and unacceptable. The balance of the deposit amount is not small, but the room rates we paid for the four nights there were not cheap. Regardless, the balance of the deposit should be returned to me.

Very disappointing. There s no joy in pointing out all of the problems we had.. My advise is to look elsewhere. Unless you can tolerate weird room configuration, poor internet, and frequent trips of the engineer to your room. We noticed problems right away and tried to change rooms on the first day. Our mistake was not leaving right away and going elsewhere. Lots of other hotels in town. We will not be back, nor can we recommend this property. We will detail all of our concerns to the hotel if we get a follow up survey. Bottomline look elsewhere.

Great location, rooms are big and the king size bed is huge. I liked all the product available in the bathroom as well

You are constantly asked for extra payments during the stay, for the wifi, for the possibility to park your car (45$ a night is not cheap) etc, the experience felt like I was flying Spirit Airlines, I expect better from a hotel of that standard. Also, the walls of by bedroom were constantly vibrating, I don't know if that was due to the AC or something else

There was no bathrobe or slippers in the hotel. The TV was not functioning
