Impressive building - warm and comfortable room during a winter stay. Good food in generous portions with helpful and attentive staff.

Elegant hotel with warm friendly staff. Excellent food with good service.

Friendly, helpful staff but the room, although clean, was tatty - scruffed paintwork, miss grount in floor tiles, missing radiator valve caps, damaged furniture. Big food portions didn't make up for poor quality. Cooked breakfast was not at all appetising.

We enjoyed staying in Ben Wyvis. The building is beautiful, well kept, however it needs some updates like beds, furniture in the room. The garden around the hotel is beautiful actually all the Victorian village is lovely.Free parking on the site. The breakfast was a buffet, some things were hot another not really. Fruits from cans. You can choose what you like. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had only one issue, our room was on the 3rd floor and we had not hot water all morning! There is a lift up to 2nd Floor only, but that was not a problem for us.

The hotel is in a lovely location in the town of Strathpeffer, but sadly the hotel itself is quite drab. It could do with a revamp. However, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it is situated in a quiet location.

Feels special. Exterior is amazing

The hotel is magnificent but dated , bits of hallway need painting and upkeep. Lobby and restaurant/lounge very well kept. Rooms are neat and clean but probably need some more care in the washroom ( sink too small and poor position of rack to store bushes etc) . Sleeping and seating arrangements are very comfy. We did not get to order dinner because apparently slots got booked up and the kitchen was "overwhelmed" . Breakfast next morning was good and filling.
