Cleveland House Inn

Best part was the breakfast.

Room was small, floor was slanted, lamps barely worked and you had to bang on it, no heat, huge bathtub but no stopper provided. Hallway was full of stuff like stack of window air conditioners, excess furniture, etc.

The location.

Stains on the carpet, the small window unit AC was loud could not handle the tiny space, the bathroom was extremely cramped, the furniture was too big for the room.

The breakfast was very good. Location was great with a private parking area. Rick was wonderful!

Our room was perfect for us. We were originally booked on a 2nd fl, but really needed a 1st fl. We asked a few days before our arrival and we were accommodated - perfect. While breakfast was an extra charge, It was the best value in Newport and made to order - we were very happy. Parking was easy as well.

Location

The inn was too old and not updated. A lot of broken parts in the structure of the building. It felt unsafe. Smell like mildew .

The location is fantastic- walk to everything. And the young man we had contact with was very helpful and polite.

The Inn is old and could definitely use some refurbishing but it was clean and we really only used it to sleep. We wished there had been a space to sit outside.

The staff are AMAZING! They treated us so well and the location was perfect. Walked to everything.
