Hotel Magic Mountain SPA & Conference center

This property was perfect for our family of four (two young children). We loved the pools and hot tubs, and the many animal sightings (cows grazing in the field next door, an iguana high up on a tree). Our room was clean, as was the property. Breakfast is included which was delicious and changed daily. The property is within walking distance to several restaurants.

I booked this hotel directly through their site, and then ended up having to cancel my trip a month before I was supposed to go. I contacted them immediately via email, as is their process, giving them more than enough time before the cancellation cut-off period. They wrote back telling me they are proceeding with the cancellation, and sent me a cancellation invoice stating the amount to be refunded. After seven I business days, I had not received anything, so I contacted them about it. Their email response then, was it will take 15-22 days. So I waited 22 business days to contact them again, and they then replied telling me it would take up to two months for the refund to be processed. It's well past two months now, and still no refund! When I am able to finally get to Costa Rica, I will be steering clear of this hotel! They will steal your money, beware!!!

The views to the volcano are phenomenal much better than we expected. Extremely satisfied.

Excelente hotel, súper cómodo, la comida muy buena, bien ubicado, perfectas instalaciones, piscina y áreas verdes con una atención impecable.

The property was veey nice, the exterior needed much needed updating as mold was all over the staircase clear wall. The room was nice, minus fact shower didnt get hot. But the hot tub watwr and sink water was scolding hot just as i like it. But yhe tub/jacuzzi didnt work there were never any bubbles. We called it in but in 6 days never got fixed. All in all i liked the hotel, but it wasnt a 9.6 rating. I woukd say 8.7
