Sonesta Essential Hotel Houston-I-45 Spring

The hotel looks pretty normal from the outside, but the second floor of the highway is kind of smelly. Also there was bed bug the room

Everything about this one is dirty, and the said to be owner doesn't care about the property nor the customer's. The place need an inspection date. Don't waste your vaction here, you will be sorry the moment you drive up, then very disappointed once you walk into the lobby. The room I had for the moment was a view of a dirty pool. So, if you had room 207 on Tuesday evening. You got a clean room because i cleaned it, then was put out over front desk giving me a roll of toilet paper. ALSO, they won't let me add the pictures, I guess because it's going to make hotel.com look bad to.

They scammed me and charged me and cancel my rooms after I paid. We had to leave and cancel our vacation I am suing this hotel and Expedia. I will be expressing my opinions on all social media apps and on my national podcast!! SCAM>> Shame on you...

Roache in room

I have stayed in some cheap hotels before, but have never felt the need to leave like I did with this one. The smell was the first thing I noticed. Strong urine odour in the room, so I checked the air conditioner/heater, and there was mould through it and it appeared that someone had peed in it. There were brown stains all over the wall including some spots of dried blood. There were clumps of hair on the floor as if someone had gotten a haircut but didn't sleep the edges. Many hairs in the sheets and I don't even want to think about how dirty the mattress cover was (I was too afraid to look at the mattress itself). We quickly left and went to another hotel nearby. The staff member at the front desk didn't even seem surprised. He had just arrived on shift to an empty front desk as apparently his colleague (who had checked us in) had just left before he arrived. He was nice enough but the person who checked us in barely said a word and walked away when we were trying to ask a question about having something delivered. I glanced into the room that was supposed to be the gym but it was just pieces of equipment scattered around with tape around them (not operational). Would give less than 0 if it was possible.

Smelled like weed smoke. Floors had dust all over them in the hallways. Dogs in room next to us barked all night.

Staff is very unprofessional, and Rude and disrespectful

Muy mal, cucarachas por toda la habitación muertas. Mucho mal olor a cigarros y a sucio en los cuartos al punto q m hizo vomitar. Había caca de perro en el front desk y no la limpiaron jamás. No lo recomiendo el peor q m he hospedado en la vida

Customer service is great. But the building is not very well taken care of. The pool was very nasty and green. The elevator smelled like urine. Found a used bar of soap in my room. Didnt stay the whole night.
