Sonesta Essential Hotel Houston-I-45 Spring

The website and Expedia listed free continental breakfast but it didn’t exist nor was there any ice machines. The stairs were blocked off and if the elevator was broken or not working if there was a fire, I would be in trouble!

This place absolutely stinks! Front desk never around, room service doesn’t do their Job!

Las paredes, espejos,y muebles muy sucios los muebles los tuvimos que limpiar nosotros para poder poner nuestras cosas encima. El servicio igual pesimo ni saludo de bienvenida ni nada.

The place was in extreme disrepair, dirty hallways, doors, walls, outside lot. Extremely underwhelmed, I would think Motel 6 would not want this facility associated with its brand.

Nothing was unique about it , need to be shut down ,

No local phone available in the room !

The smell is bad, holes in the walls, no security lock on door and stains in the bathroom. This was a very bad stay and if was not so tired I would have left.

Where to start? No working ice machine entire trip. Roaches. The luggage cart is a dollar general yellow shopping cart someone stole for the property. I could go on

I truly do not understand how this place is not shut down. Minimal cleaning, everything is broken and they have not replaced. Cardboard covering windows, and the pool that looked clean and functional in the advertisement... yeah it works, but its green. As we were checking out, another customer was asking for clean towles and the lady at the counter told her to clean them in the coin laundry if she wanted clean towels because the lady who does the towels wasnt there today.

As soon as I walked into the hotel room and smell old and stinky, and then there was only one housekeeper, and I asked for some extra towels she said she couldn’t give me any and she was the only one I had to wash them. We had three people in a room and we’re going to get one towel per size and that’s it for three people. Also, the pool was brown and cannot be swimming in and homeless people hanging around the property and staff was very rude and the toilet kept having problems .DO NOT STAY HERE!!
