"Poor breakfast "

The hotel was in a great location in the marinara district district on the sea front. The style of the hotel is very kitsch but fun. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. The room we had was a good size and very quirky with bright colours and huge fish and octopi painted on the walls. The major dissapointment was the breakfast. The one waiter was very cold. You had to ask for a coffee. There was no muesli put out. You had to ask for it. On the second and final day there was no muesli at all. The only brown bread was from a sliced loaf. There was no hot food. Mainly just cakes.

"Great location"

A very nice hotel in the old quarter. Not a big room but very neat and clean. The continental breakfast was good with a big selection. The parking was not on site and not free. Very close to good restaurants but it is a bit of a hike up hill to the castello.

"Friendly and welcoming "

Staff were lovely and could not do enough to help/assist you with enquiries and booking excursions. I received a bottle of champagne and biscuits to my room for my birthday ( I wasn't aware that they knew !!) A really kind and thoughtful gesture

"Shame about the garden!"

The hotel was misrepresented in the photographs on line. It doesn't deserve a 4 star rating in my opinion. The 'garden' was pokey dull and horrible. You would not want to sit there at all for any length of time. A bitter disappointment . The breakfast was hit and miss .

"Good location with view over the harbour. "

If you like white walls and no character in your hotels you will not like this one. Every room is very very different with a different theme. Some are nicer than others. However, these themes gave us endless fun( we occupied six or seven rooms) and they were certainly worthy of comment. Every bathroom was lovely.

"Nice Quirky hotel. Expensive coffee!"

Fantastic hotel, beautifully decorated and very quirky. REALLY good breakfast. Only downside is the price of the extras... 5 Euros each for a cup of tea or a coffee gives you an idea! Plenty of places to buy a cheaper one within the area though.
