Miramare Cagliari Hotel Museo

Probably best to arrive by taxi or shuttle as entrance is in between shops and not that easy to find first time, Also unless you ring up to reception to send down lift there are 2 flights of stairs to climb, the receptionist called Mario was 1st class immediately taking luggage showing me to lounge, and offering complimentary drink also handing out maps and advising on tours and attractions, The hotel is a bit quirky in a nice way all rooms are very individual not like usual hotel rooms ,Breakfast is served in lounge ,there is a large assortment of typical European food pastries, meat ,and fruit but no hot food available .Coffee served by very friendly young lady. Once you have settled in a very pleasant stay once again a big well done to Mario for his excellent customer service

It is nicely located hotel in the historic centre of Cagliari, Sardinia. There are not too many there. The first impression was very good. However, a closer look tells you that it is not a four star hotel. The hotel itself is located at the third floor accessible by a primitive elevator suitable for only two people. You cannot use it without a key. The room itself is nice, but the bathroom is too small and primitive. A third of the room was under water after my morning shower. To make a discount price was simple - they took out the breakfast and charged it $25.- You can got the same quality (and quantity) breakfast in a small restaurant in the city for less than $10.-, and you can get a comparable hotel in downtown area for a much lower price.

Great location and staff. The hotel is very eclectic, and a bit quirky, as the office is on the 3rd floor. But, its worth the climb and very charming. Its near a great restaurant district, close to city center and the port, and only a short cab ride from the airport. We found the décor really neat and the staff very helpful. It was a great stay and the panoramic view from the hotel is fantastic.

This hotel was great, although the rooms could do with being sound proofed (we could hear music and people walking the corridor outside the door of our room at from about 8am each morning)...but we still enjoyed our stay.

Disliked this hotel. Very small room, shower leaked onto bedroom floor, no key inside the room so felt unsafe.

I booked the most expensive room here with certain expectations based on previous travel experiences around the world. The hotel is charming, unique. And in a good location. However the room was so small I could barely open my luggage. I have stayed in hotels in Europe and Asia at comparable rates and in lovely locations and they were more luxurious and much more spacious than this.

Close to shops, restaurants and bars, the location was perfect. Unusual hotel, with interesting decor and helpful staff.
