Miramare Cagliari Hotel Museo

Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights at this small boutique hotel with interesting artwork and collectables. Would love to return someday. Great service and location.

Didn't honour the valet parking. Kept air con off during the day which made the areas too warm. Rude staff. Breakfast not that special. Some items where 'off' due to the heat.

Loved Mira Mare. When we booked it we had no idea what we were in for. The pictures and description on Expedia doesn't do a justice. Every room is unique with its own vintage or antique furniture art and books. It feels more like you are staying at the house of someone really interesting, may be a writer, artist or collector (with good taste). Plus the staff are uber helpful, caring and always with smiles. We highly recommend it for the experience.

Fast check in with welcome drinks. Very helpful staff n very polite n friendly. Special lobby n room. But room was relatively small. Lots of restaurants around the area

Beautifully decorated with fabulous art, solicitous and helpful staff (on duty 24/7!). Wonderful breakfast, comfortable beds, well located for walking to sightsee and to restaurants (oh my, Da Corsaro and Roberto Pomate-some of the best meals of my life, and around the block!) Housed in one of the upper floors of an historic building, decor successfully blends modern artworks, mid-century modern and traditional antiques with natural and "found " elements in a very San Francisco-transported-to-Sardinia way. Notes: English speaking staff are very helpful with tourist info. Elevator is very small and keyed for security, requiring a 3-story climb to register and obtain key. There is a buzzer at entry level which didn't work for us.

Wonderful boutique hotel with a very interesting interior, located in the old city. Great service from very personable staff, they even took the time to call a nearby restaurant to order a dish for me that wasn't on the menu, at my request. Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Caglieri.

A great location and very nice staff, but the hotel is very old. Room was not ready when we arrived at 5 p.m. and we sat around the lobby a good 45 minutes. We had been asked what room type we wanted and specified the most spacious (rather than view, etc.). Despite this the room was very small (even by NYC/Boston standards). The power was out the first few hours we were there which also put a damper on things as we very much wanted to shower after coming off long flights.

Eclectic mix of decoration styles, but lovely home from home. Only slight downside was a lack of natural light in the room, but otherwise brilliant. Helpful and friendly staff at all hours. Very comfortable stay.

Great little hotel right on the harbor. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's very charming and the people who run it are super friendly and clearly care about their guests. It is tiny, it's one floor in an old building. There are about a dozen or so rooms, and they're pretty small (mine was, anyway, but I think they're mostly similar). I believe only actually has a view of the harbor, the others just look into alleys. But there are lots of neat little touches, like little nooks where you can sit and drink an espresso. Highly recommended if you like quirky and unique places and don't need a lot of space.
